WHAT TO EXPECT TODAY CARAVAN meets in the Sunday School Rooms

Worship: We take time together to connect with God through 8:30am & 10:50am Morning Worship Services
song, scripture, fellowship, and prayer. Something special 9:45am Sunday School
happens we focus on God together. We invite you to stand and 4:45pm Choir Practice
sing with us as we praise God, but adopt whatever posture of 5:00pm Christmas Musical Practice
worship is best for you. The song lyrics and scriptures are 6:00pm Evening Worship
projected on screen so that you can follow along. A typical service
lasts about 65 minutes.
Children: We have a fully-staffed Nursery for ages three and
below. Kids ages 4-12 will be dismissed during the service to the NURSERY WORKERS

Church of the Nazarene Memorial Roll
If you would like to purchase a Memorial Roll certificate in memory of a
loved one, please contact Brenda in the church office by tomorrow.
(649-3867 or office@estillnaz.org). The cost of placing someone on the
Memorial Roll is $75. Memorial Roll Certificates will be presented on All-
Saints Sunday, November 3rd.
The Memorial Roll, established in 1919, is a way to honor deceased
friends and loved ones. A certificate is issued in the name of the person
memorialized and presented to a family member. All monies received go
towards the cost of health insurance for our missionaries serving in the
field.
Today is the last day to purchase a Memorial Roll certificate.
What is Alabaster Offering?
The Alabaster Offering provides funds for property and buildings around the
world. While we understand the church consists of the people of God and not a
building, buildings erected for the purpose of ministry help provide a sense of
permanence, functionally enhance ministry efforts, and convey an attitude that
the Church of the Nazarene intends to "put down roots." Alabaster funds help
provide land for many Work & Witness projects, and the entire Alabaster
Offering goes toward the purchase of land and construction of
churches, schools, medical facilities, and homes for
missionaries and national workers.

BIBLE STUDY FELLOWSHIP
BSF began September 12th with the study of Acts on Thursdays, 9:30am, at
Tullahoma First Baptist Church, in their fellowship hall. All women are

Did you know…that five-year old Shamber Flore and her siblings were dragged from
apartment to apartment, never knowing what the next day would bring or what the next
meal would be? Until Michigan's Child Protective Services Shamber and her siblings
took custody and they were bounced around from family to family, devastated every
time she had to pack her bags. That all changed when an adoption agency called St.
Vincent Catholic Charities got involved and went to work finding her a home where she
belonged. Fourteen years ago, she, her brother, and sister found a forever family when
they were adopted by the Flores family. Today, Shamber is 20 years old. In 2017, St.
Vincent "recruited more new adoptive families than nearly 90 percent of the other
agencies in its service area." Yet, they were still targeted, simply because of their beliefs
about marriage, a Christian worldview. When the ACLU and Michigan Attorney General
Dana Nessel (D) went to court to close down the agency, she and her parents decided
to fight -- not just for St. Vincent, but for the thousands of kids trapped in foster homes
like she was. Federal Judge Robert Jonker stated "[T]his case is not about whether
same-sex couples can be great parents...What this case is about is whether St. Vincent
may continue to do this work and still profess and promote the traditional Catholic belief
that marriage as ordained by God is for one man and one woman. The Judge sided with
St. Vincent. For the Flores and co-plaintiffs Chad and Melissa Buck -- who've adopted
five children through St. Vincent --- the news was cause for celebration. The Bucks, who
got a shout-out from the President at this year's National Prayer Breakfast, have a
compelling story of their own that can now continue because of this ruling. Chad and
Melissa were introduced by President Trump and he made a point of saying, "We will
always protect our country's long and proud tradition of faith-based adoption. My
administration," he said, "is working to ensure that faith-based adoption agencies are
able to help vulnerable children find their forever families while following their deeply-
held beliefs."
