Increase Sales & Earn Money With Facebook

“Discover 6 Habits That Will

Change Your Business &
Thinking Forever”
... discover an art & science that is often misunderstood:
Facebook marketing.

I. Meet & Greet

Hey there, what’s going on?

Nice to meet you!

Welcome on board – and welcome to our special training.

Ok guys, it’s time to break conventions.

Why? Because I LOVE to break them.

So listen closely.

You are reading these words because you want to learn the secrets of Facebook
marketing.

Wise choice.

Just the fact that you got this guide shows how awesome you are! You are a rock star
like Jon Bon Jovi and more badass than Mick Jagger!

You took action, congratulations! I like that, I like your style, and it proves you are
smart.

More importantly: I have no doubt that you are going to absolutely crush it with
Facebook.

No matter if you just want to get started earning money online or you are already
running a business, but looking for a place to get started.

Facebook is the route to go.

Before I let you in on a few secrets that will give you an unfair competitive advantage,
I’d like to tell you who I am and WHY I am doing what I am doing.

My name is Patrick, and I’m living in Munich (pretty sure you heard of the Oktoberfest,
right? That’s right there!).

I’m living with my fiancée Julia, who is the love of my life, in a pretty sexy house with
many trees and squirrels in our backyard. I am sure you would like our home.

After graduating from high school, I had the passion to become a lawyer.

Yeah, that’s right… A lawyer… A sleazy guy doing M&A deals on a large scale day in
and day out.

During law school, I worked hard. I was a top student, worked for the best law firms in
the country like Freshfields, Baker & McKenzie, and the German Ministry of Justice.

But somehow it didn’t feel right, and I had to take a break to rethink my life. Don’t ask
me why… it was a voice from within, telling me: Patrick, that’s not your destiny. Give
your profession a second thought.

So I did.

In my third year of law school, I decided to spend a year abroad and take the chance
to obtain a master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law in the wonderful Silicon Valley.

It was time for a big change.

I packed my stuff, booked a flight to California, but I had absolutely no clue how much
my life would turned upside down…

Man, I am telling you…

At that time, I had absolutely no clue that I just bought a ticket to paradise. The Silicon
Valley is probably the most magical place on earth. Almost every person I met was a
founder. Some of them failed 9 times in a row, but they kept on trying until they
succeeded. Some of them were just 18 years old, some of them were 70.

That was the inspiration I was looking for all my life!

I had never seen so many passionate people fighting to realize their dreams. So I
asked myself: Patrick, what are your dreams?

I realized that I didn’t want to become a lawyer doing some shitty corporate stuff and
working my butt off just to make other people richer.

I wanted to build businesses that change the lives of other people.

What I’ve seen was companies wasting huge marketing budgets to increase sales and
people like you and me spending thousands of dollars on shiny marketing objects to
earn some money on the side.

This had to stop.

I was full of energy and passion, but no clue how to get started.

After my first year, I suffered from a very common phenomenon: information overload
(pretty sure you know what I am talking about…). I learned about all kinds of marketing
techniques, but my knowledge was useless if I didn’t apply it and take action.

I decided to get started by focusing and mastering Facebook advertisement (you will
understand in a minute why I stick to Facebook marketing ever since) before moving
on. It took me hours and hours of hard work, but eventually I succeeded. I mastered
the craft of Facebook marketing.

Turning my back to a career as a lawyer and being an entrepreneur and marketer

turned out to be the best decision I have ever made. I am living the life I have always
dreamed of with the most beautiful women on my side that I have ever seen, who is
supporting me day in and day out (thank you Julia – I love you!)

My passion for helping others is driving me every day and has allowed me to be the
person I am today.

No matter if we talk about Paris…

Taking a picture in front of Chichén Itzá…

Spending a vacation in Cancun at the No. 1 rated beach in the world

Going for a cool weekend to Berlin…

Having a delicious coconut in Mexico…

Taking awkward pictures in Yosemite National Park…

Or just meeting old friends in Santa Clara…

Without exaggeration, you could probably call me the happiest person on earth.

I am damn proud of who I have become, yet I don’t want to brag about who my clients
are, how much I charge for a private consultation or which businesses I run.

All of that doesn’t matter.

I LOVE what I do, and I know WHY I am a business person. I guess that’s the major
takeaway from my story.

I am here to turn your businesses and life upside down and open doors where there
have been walls…

I believe that the key to your success is a social networking service headquartered in
Menlo Park, California. The company was founded on February 4, 2004 by Mark
Zuckerberg with his college roommates and fellow Harvard University students
Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum, Dustin Moskowitz and Chris Hughes which
generated 7.78 billion dollars in 2013.

Exactly, it’s Facebook – a company no marketer or business can live without in the
21st century.

Let’s take a closer look why…

II. The Power Of Facebook

It’s no secret that Facebook is the most powerful advertisement tool at the present
time. As Google Trends prove, more and more people are interested in Facebook
advertisement:

Here are a number of reasons why you can’t miss out on Facebook:

Facebook has massive traffic potential

Did you know that 3 out of 4 internet users are active on Facebook? You’ve got a
traffic source of 1 billion potential clients at your fingertips! You can reach out to them
with Facebook ads in a matter of seconds!

Facebook is social

No other platform allows you to build meaningful relationships with your clients, so that
they purchase over and over from you. You can engage with them on a daily basis,
ask questions, share valuable and entertaining content, make them laugh, and much
more! If they like you, then they’ll pay you. It’s as easy as that.

Facebook is laser-targeted

Facebook has more information about your target audience than any other media
outlet. In fact, they know more about their users than God himself – and you have
access to all of their data! Pretty cool, right?

Facebook advertisement is fast

In contrast to SEO, you don’t have to wait months to see results! The moment your ad
is approved, Facebook starts sending huge amounts of traffic to it and making you
rich!

Facebook is a weapon of influence

Word of mouth advertising is more powerful and authentic. 92% of people trust
opinions of their friends and family while only 47% trust traditional media. When users
on the site like a company or share an ad, their friends and family see that interaction
and are more likely to follow suit. In a survey done on Facebook campaigns, research
found 70% of campaigns had 300% ROI!

Facebook has crazy advertising tools

Marc Zuckerberg and his team give you access to a variety of mind-blowing
advertisement tools. You can do all sorts of crazy things. For example, did you know
that you can expose people to ads once they visit your website, upload email lists or
target millions of people who are just like your current customers? That’s right, and
you can do even more than that!

In a nutshell…

Facebook is a big deal, and its influence is here to stay. Facebook is the most highly
trafficked website in the world, and many prospects may not even take a company
seriously if it does not have a presence on Facebook. If you are a business, Facebook
is a must-have tool and the best way to increase sales.

But what if you are just here to start earning money with Facebook?

Facebook is a business model that works even if you have failed miserably over and
over in the past and have zero experience.

With Facebook, you can build a serious business and generate passive income for the
years to come. And the cool thing is that it is not rocket science. Instead of wasting
your time with some shiny marketing techniques, do something that is guaranteed to
make you money – and that is Facebook marketing!

use Facebook as their most powerful weapon of marketing.

Or  let’s  just  take  a  look  at  these  folks:

Marie Forleo…

Jon Loomer…

Or Amy Porterfield…

All of them have built multi-million dollar Facebook businesses in no time!

And there is one important guy who harnessed the power of Facebook…

You may have heard of him…

Barack Obama!

No matter whether you like that guy or not:

The 2008 Obama Presidential campaign made history. Not only was Obama the first
African American to be elected president, but he was also the first presidential
candidate to effectively use social media as a major campaign strategy.
In the 2008 presidential campaign, Barack Obama had more "friends" on Facebook
and Myspace and more "followers" on Twitter than his opponent John McCain.
And not only that: the Obama presidential campaign spent $643,000 out of $16 million
Internet budget to promote his Facebook account!

Crazy, right?

I gave you plenty of examples of people and businesses harnessing the power of
Facebook. It’s the route to go to increase your sales or just earn money.

With Facebook, the sky is the limit. In case you didn’t jump on the bandwagon yet:
now is the perfect time for it!

It’s time to get you into the proper mindset…

III. 6 Habits Of Successful Facebook Marketers
Ok, my Facebook ninjas, time to get started. Bring it on!

Let me ask you a simple question: what do you think the following marketers &
entrepreneurs have in common?

Ø Jay Abraham
Ø Tony Robbins
Ø Amy Porterfield
Ø Frank Kern
Ø Timothy Ferris

…Or the most liked people on Facebook?

Ø Eminem: 94 million likes

Ø Rihanna: 89 million likes
Ø Lady Gaga: 67 million likes
Ø Michael Jackson: 78 million likes (R.I.P man…)
Ø Sharkia: 103 million likes
Ø Justin Bieber: 74 million likes (SERIOUSLY? I will never understand this….)
Ø Beyoncé: 64 million likes (shake it baby…)

Or what about the most liked brands:

Ø Coca-Cola: 88 million likes

Ø Disney: 49 million likes (I LOVE Mickey Mouse)
Ø Converse: 40 million likes
Ø Starbucks: 37 million likes (if you like standing in line…)
Ø Red Bull: 44 million likes (fill in the blank: doesn’t make me fly, but ____)
Ø Oreo: 37 million likes
Ø McDonald’s: 32 million likes

Any idea?

Do you want to know what they do?

ALL of them stick to the six golden rules of Facebook marketing.

ALL of your marketing efforts must be inspired by six key rules that are as old as the
universe (or as old as Facebook at least…).

At this point you are probably thinking: Patrick, what the heck are those rules?

I’ll tell you just in a second. Just want to get you excited!

You can build a business that is as successful as the folks and brands mentioned
above – no kidding!

So let’s acquire the basic mindset for becoming a successful Facebook marketer. I’m
going to let you in on six one million dollar secrets that will give you an unfair
advantage over your competition… This stuff is 100% badass!

Ready? Then let’s talk money my friend…

Rule #1: Know Your Audience

Without knowing who your fans are and WHY they are your fans, it is impossible to
speak their language and verbalize their thoughts.

Is it Pete from San Diego who is addicted to Californian Burritos and looking for a way
to lose 20lbs because his kids are making fun of him and started calling him “fatty”…
or Robert, 22 years old, studying engineering at the MIT and getting ready for spring-
break on Miami beach. The problem is that he’s a complete nerd and reacting to
women like Raj Koothrappali from the Big Bang Theory, so he decided to join your fan
page to get some serious dating advice. He wants to get laid in Florida - no matter
what – and he is ready to pay you 1 million dollars if you help him realizing his biggest
dream…

So, understanding the problems, thoughts, fears, and the pain of your audience is
indispensable to providing the content and solutions your fans are looking for.

What do your fans think? What do they say? What do they hear? And what do they
see?

Know the answer to those questions. Know your audience inside out, and you will
absolutely crush it with Facebook marketing.

The “message” of your fan page must resonate with its fans. Without knowing who
your audience is you cannot communicate that message.

Rule #2: Understand “Infotainment”

Educate your audience with extremely valuable information and entertain them at the
same time. Be an “infotainer”. You cannot see, smell or hug your fans, but keep in
mind that your are dealing with real human beings! They have problems that you need
to solve, but you also wanna have fun on your fan page, tell some jokes, show weird
stuff, make them laugh, and put a big smile on their face.

Let’s take Pete, for example, the guy who is addicted to Burritos. He’s looking for
advice to lose some weight fast, but he also wants to be entertained. You don’t want to
tell him all day long that he is fat as he gets mobbed by his kids or refer to three
articles per day on how to get a six-pack…

It doesn’t matter whether you post articles, videos, pictures or questions: Put out your
best and coolest stuff. That’s how the big guys are doing it. They are great entertainers
and the go-to source for their fans in their niche markets. This approach will set you
apart from the competition and establish yourself as an authority. Your fans will feel
grateful for the support they receive on a daily basis and feel indebted. Not only that,
they will fall in love with you and wish they could get married to you or be your best
friend because you also make them laugh.

In this case, they will purchase anything you offer to them just because of how great
you are. They will feel indebted for all the quality and fun you bring into their life.
People hang out on Facebook not only to get educated about a topic, but to have fun
as well. Help and entertain them. That’s the way to do it.

Rule #3: Be Consistent
Interact with fans on a regular basis to gain trust and build up a lasting and profitable
relationship.

Consistency is a powerful weapon of social influence. Being consistent is a hallmark of

logic and intellectual strength, and fans will comply with all of your sales requests if
you create this picture of yourself!

And it wasn’t me who came up with this: Read “The Psychology of Persuasion” by
Robert Cialdini if you don’t believe me (great book!)

While consistency is extremely helpful to skyrocket your fan base, inconsistency is the
easiest recipe to lose all your fans if you don’t show up on a regular basis and talk to
them.

Would you trust someone who doesn’t show up at least one per day to take care of
your needs? I guess not.

Also, you can’t talk to Pete for 2 weeks and then disappear for 1 month… That’s
uncool. Because you didn’t show up, he gained 30 more pounds and got arrested
because of an armed robbery of Taco Bell in Tijuana.

Don’t create the picture that you actually don’t care about your fans, but their wallets.

Successful Facebook marketers are posting content on a regular basis and answering
comments in a timely manner.

Being consistent is not about posting as much as possible and replying to comments
as fast as possible. Consistency is about setting expectations and living up to them.
This attitude will earn you more 100-dollar bills than you can actually lift.

Rule #4: Create Viral Fan Engagement

Do you know what successful Facebook marketers are? They are experts at creating
overwhelming fan engagement! Getting your fans to take action is what Facebook
marketing is all about. The ultimate goal is to comment, share, and like everything you
do!

Facebook has an algorithm differentiating between posts that get pushed out to the
newsfeed or your fans and posts that don’t. The more engaged your fans are, the
bigger the exposure of your fan page is. For this reason, maximizing organic reach is
vital! It’s all about free distribution of your fan page. So, why pay for traffic if we can get
if for free?

Ask questions that don’t require much time to answer and get people to talk about
themselves! People LOVE to talk about themselves… who doesn’t actually?

Ask niche related questions, but also participate in the everyday life of your fans.

Ask them questions like:

Ø What was the best food you have ever had?

Ø What is the worst movie you have ever seen?
Ø Who is the hotter: Jessica Alba or Angelina Jolie? (Jessica Alba wins for me –
love you girl!)
Ø Would you rather date Brad Pit or George Clooney?

Does any of those questions matter to Pete who is trying to lose weight? NO, because
those questions are not relevant to his weight issue! But do those questions matter to
his everyday life and prove that you are genuinely interested in what he thinks, says
and feels?

HELL YEAH! Maybe he is dreaming of a romantic dinner at Taco Bell with Jessica
Alba and Angelina Jolie!

Btw: if you don’t believe me that this strategy works, then go to the fan page of Social
Media Examiner and see how many personal questions they ask. Social Media
Examiner is the biggest social media blog on the Internet and those guys definitely
know what works and what doesn’t…

You need to get people to comment on a post, hit the like button, and share it with
their friends. Facebook marketing is about your fans taking action, thereby reaching a
broader audience and increasing visibility in order to attract new fans at ZERO costs!
Marketers who crush it with Facebook let their fans drawing in more and more fans
without even asking them to do so! Word-of-mouth marketing at its best!

Also, engage in conversations and answer comments on a regular basis. Listen to

your fans closely!

If you want to be the most interesting person, you have to be the most interested
person.

Rule #5: Analyze Your Fan Activity
Damn right, that’s what Facebook marketing gurus do all the time.

What kind of post worked out and which posts flopped? Why was one post shared and
liked thousands of times while another post didn’t perform so well? Learn from your
fans and use those insights to reach an even bigger audience.

Rule #6: Don’t Hard-Sell On Your Fan Page

Violate that rule and you get punished really hard by your fans.

Facebook is a social site and not an ecommerce store. Use Facebook to build up a
relationship with your fans and win their trust. Once you got their trust, they will dig
deep down into their pockets and purchase everything you are offering to them!
However, you must get them to trust and like you first!

Successful Facebook marketers hard sell on their website or in their emails, but not on
Facebook. They don’t treat their fans as a personal ATM. A fan page is a fan page, not
a sales page. Besides, people didn’t join Facebook to do business with you!
Infotainment is the name of the game!

People that come together on Facebook are not going to put up with you if the page
reflects that you’re selling to them. We get spammed with offers and ads day in and
day out, right? So don’t bother your fans with sales pitches on Facebook. I don’t want
you to do that. Use Facebook to gain trust and authority by providing entertaining and
valuable content to your audience. Don’t wait for money to change hands! Once you
built up a relationship with them, they will purchase everything you offer to them.

More importantly, it doesn’t make sense at all.

According to a study by AIS Media, 27% of Americans report using mobile devices to
check Facebook while in the bathroom. I guess that’s not surprising to many of you.

Bottom line: the bathroom should be the absolutely last place asking someone to pull
out his credit card and to book a vacation or buy a skin cream set…

IV. Conclusion
Ok guys, that about wraps things up.

up your Facebook business:
