One hot day, a thirsty Fox came to a deep well to drink. Unfortunately he fell into
the well and could find no way to escape. A thirsty Goat came to the same well and
saw the Fox. He asked the fox whether the water was good. The fox is tricky, he
thought of the way to escape from the well so he told the goat that the taste of fresh
water in the well was very nice. Then he asked the goat to jump into the well to share
the water.
When the goat finished drinking the water, the fox informed him the difficulty
they were both in. He suggested a plan for their escape. "If," said he, "you will place
your forefeet upon the wall and bend your head, I will run up your back and escape,
and I will help you out afterwards."
The Goat readily agreed and the Fox leaped upon his back. Climbing on Goat's

didn’t get any money.
Talking about a memorable day life, I remember a day when I was in the seventh
grade. That is a special birthday day that I won’t forget.
In that afternoon, the entire class went to the lunchroom. At the moment, I was
heading back to class form the rest room when a friend of mine grabbed my hands
and closed my eyes with a piece of cloth, after that he took me toward the tables. As
my eyes were opened, all my classmates started singing happy birthday. I was in total
surprise and was not expecting this to happen. One of my classmates brought a huge
cake to share with the entire class. We all enjoyed the cake and after we finished
eating my mom had bags of candies and snacks for all my classmates. A moment later
my dad joined us. He asked permission to go home early from his office. It really
touched my heart to see how big the love of my parents to me was. After eating, we
went to the basketball court where we started playing dodge ball. I was one of the very
last ones to survive the game
I look back and reflect on why that birthday was so memorable to this day. I

The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most beautiful bridges in the world. It was
built in 1937 by Joseph Baerman Strauss . The bridge was once the longest
suspension bridge in the world. The bridge's 4,200 foot long main suspension span
was a world record that held for 27 years. The name Golden Gate refers to the Golden
Gate Strait, a name appeared around 1856, which connects the San Francisco Bay to
the Pacific Ocean. An enduring symbol of California and San Francisco, the
suspension bridge that links San Francisco to the Marin Headlands is probably the
most photographed in the world.
The Golden Gate Bridge spans 4200 feet. Its two towers soar 746 feet and were
built to withstand winds of more than 100 MPH. The bridge is designed to sway 27.7
feet to withstand earthquakes. Completed in 1937 after four years of construction, the
bridge is built in the Art Deco style. Its iconic rust color is known as International

A landslide is a geological event, in which the top layer of earth on the side of a
hill or mountain becomes loose and moves downwards. Although gravity is
the main force behind a landslide the side of a hill or mountain can
become unstable due to many factors like sinking groundwater, loss of vegetation,
movement of glaciers, heavy rain, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, erosion by rivers
and waves. All of these events can cause parts of a slope to break off and move.
Landslides can also be caused by humans through deforestation, more and
more traffic, construction work, changing of the landscape due to mining, overgrazing,
building new settlements.
Landslides can occur slowly, hardly noticeable over a period of years. Creep is
the slowest movement of land. It is so slow that special instruments must be used to
measure the speed of land movement, which is often only a few cm a year. However,
sometimes rock and mud move down slopes at fast speed.

Perhaps, one of many things that I can’t forget about my mother is her great role in my
education. I can say that she is my first teacher. She has been teaching me everything since I was
young child until now. I remember that the first foreign language I studied from her is English. I
could speak some simple words in English when I was just 3 years old such as "hello", "good
bye". I remember at about 4 years old, I was in the garden and I caught a dragonfly. I was
extremely happy. At that time, I tried to speak English by describing a dragonfly that I caught.
And my mom, of course, was the first person listening to me. I made many mistakes of course
but my mom showed her support by saying that it was amazing. I could remember her face was
full of pride when looking at me. I can’t forget that.
Now, she is still a best friend, I think, she is the greatest problem solver related to my
education. When I get a trouble or I can’t decide what to do, I always go to her for some advices.
As usual, I always fell better after that. I really love my mother. I think I am the happiest person
because I have a great mother like that.
