ACTIVITIES
I) PRE LESSSON : Divide the pupils into small groups (6 groups) and ask them to
look at the picture of the computer on the board. Each group is
to brainstorm and discuss all the parts of the computer.
Note: This is for average pupils. Ask higher proficiency pupils to
label and name the functions of the computer parts.

Each group will send a representative to name one part of the

computer
II) LESSON : Ask pupils to read through the questions and allow a short
DEVELOPMENT discussion. For Activity A to meet the complementary skill,
extend activity by adding a question, like, how often do you use
a computer? What do you use it for? Are your parents computer
savvy? Allow discussion time.

Ask pupils to pair up with their talk partner. Follow activity B

instructions in the Teacher’s Book. Play the CD. Give pupils the
opportunity to write their answers. Put pupils with their talk
partners and get them to discuss their answers with each other.
This is a practice so that pupils listen to how their talk partners
understood the information. Play the CD again and ask pupils to
individually check their answers again. Now check answer as
whole class by selecting a few pupils and giving a clear correct
answer to all.
Ask pupils to read through the questions in Activity C. Check all
pupils understand the vocabulary used in the sentences 1-8
(medals and missions). Play the CD twice. Put pupils with their
talk partners (think-pair-share) and get them to discuss their
answers with each other. Play the CD again and ask pupils to
individually check their answers again. Then put them in small
groups to discuss their answers before collecting responses as a
whole class.

Note:
 If pupils are proficient enough and are likely to finish early,
plan additional activity such as: writing a personal
information for their own web page.
 For the weak pupils, guided information (templates) will be
given for them to write their own webpage
