Introduction

“Intellectual property refers to the exclusive rights granted by the State over the creations
of the human intellect, in particular, inventions, literary and artistic works, and the
distinctive signs and designs used in commerce” (WIPO, 2019).

In work done, it presents the information of the most common forms of intellectual
property; features, requirements, costs etc. are presented.
Digital transformation is the application of digital capabilities to processes, products and
assets to improve efficiency, improve customer value, manage risk and discover new
opportunities for income generation.

Subsequently, we talk about the digital transformation in companies. Digital


transformation is the application of digital capabilities to processes, products and assets to
improve efficiency, improve customer value, manage risk and discover new opportunities
for income generation. (PowerData, 2019)
In this work the main problems, causes and effects of this transformation in Colombia are
related.

Identify from several points of view the problematic in promotion of the digital
transformation in the Colombian nation

Specific objectives

 Review and interpret the sources of information related to digital transformation


 Construction of a conceptual tool where this problem is expressed
 Construction of the problem with the views of each group member

Problem How to promote digital transformation in Colombian

According to figures from the Digital Economy


Observatory, it is estimated that in Colombia only 11.7%
of companies have a digital strategy, 23.1% are thinking
Problem about implementing it and only 15.3% are measuring the
description impacts of This trend in their companies.
The above may be due to different factors, the most
specific are the planning and implementation time and the
costs generated. In this regard, the Ministry of ICT
emphasizes that, according to the figures of the Adoption
Index of Mature Technologies, published in December
last year, this type of implementation has been growing in
recent years.
Even the gap between large companies and micro, small
and medium enterprises has been closing.
In 2015, that index was 70.7 in large companies; in SMEs,
35, and microenterprises, 21. Last year that figure was 76,
60 and 52, respectively.
