The September 14 cruise missile strikes through a drone on Saudi Aramco oilfields
by Iran or any of its allies directly challenges defense of Saudi Arabia and other
Gulf states along with regional and global interests of United States of America.
The attack clearly demonstrates Iran’s capacity to cause severe affliction through
precision strikes within area of 2000 kilometers as claimed by Iranian foreign
minister.
Despite claims of responsibility by Houthies, U.S officials still believe that
strikes on Saudi critical energy infrastructure in Khurais and Abqaiq is likely the
work of Iran. Even if Iranian soil was not used to launch those attacks but the
strikes were almost initiated by an Iran-baked faction and it unveils Iran’s real
intent.
The strike presents a stark threat to U.S regional and global interests. Even
though the United States’s sufficiency make her far less reliant on oil supplies of
Persian Gulf but her western allies remain dependent on those supplies perchance
vulnerable to any disruption. This capability of precision demonstrates that Iran is
capable to project power throughout the region and that can impede U.S regional
interests in the region.
The reluctance of Saudi Arabia to instantaneous blame Iran, shows the level
to which Iran has out flanked Riyadh in their war by proxy to that degree as the
kingdom is now surrounded by capable Iranian allies to the south and the north
particularly Lebanese Hizbullah,and Iran -backed Iraqi Shia milities.They have
been successfully nurtured by Iran through increasingly sophisticated short-range
missiles and arms drones, to the point where Israel has stepped up a bombing
campaign against Iranian shipments and infrastructure in Lebanon, Syria and Iraq.
Saudis are in fact in quagmire. If they directly blame Iran for these strikes
then U.S and specially Israel will not waste a single minute to attack on Iranian
installations. The attack conducted by Iran-backed Houthis or anyone proxy is the
most dangerous attacks to date. Its consequences are much beyond surge in oil
prices.it is not the strongest sign of regional war which was scripted as the Persian-
Arab war. This attack turned Yemen war into Saudi Arabia war. The civil war in
Yemen was already a Saudi-Iran war but now truth is all in the open.
 On Wednesday Houthis threatened to attack dozens of targets in the U.A.E
including in the skyscrapers occupied city states of Dubai and Abu Dahbi.While
U.S President Donald Trump said “we are ready for war .our weapons are locked
and loaded. We are focused on targets.” In response to this statement, Iranian
foreign Minister Jawad Zarif said “we do not want war but if imposed it would be
all out war and battle ground could be extended around 2000 kilometers”. Thanks
to Saudi averseness to blame Iran directly and Houthis new statement to stall fresh
strikes on Saudi Arabia and elsewhere. The Arab Persian war or Islamic civil war
has been averted for now. But vehement and deliberate statement by Iranian FM
have exposed vulnerability of Saudi Arabia. Moreover Houthis new offer to stall
their missile attacks again outflanked KSA on diplomatic front too. Response of
Saudi FM on this offer was very careful and bit defensive.
U.S and Israel may continue provocation and it means that the indirect show
down between Iran and Saudi Arabia will continue. Recent claim by Houthies of
capturing Saudi soldiers will again escalate the level of this show down between
these two countries which was coming down after president Rohani’s
reconciliation offer to countries of the region without intervention of international
players. U.S and Israel’s plan is to prepare the region for Arab-Persian war and
now precision of cruise missile attacks will compel them not to back track from
their plan.
Interestingly, all wars in this region since 1991 were fought on Arab soil.
Nevertheless Arab countries were always defeated .Years back the Arab Persian
border was Iran-Iraq border then this border was drawn to Iraq-Syria border. Now
the Arab continent, Saudi Arabia is directly heading towards the center of war.
God forbids if this war is initiated, it will strike the heart of Saudis and it may
also reason internal division of Saudi Arabia .Disappointedly, their major mistake
was when they lost turkey which played pivotal role in both Syria and the region.
The biggest mistake of Saudi was crafting a corridor in north Syria against turkey
with the help of U.S, UAE and Isreal.it is actually a clear sign of their open anti-
turkey front. One more step ahead means an invitation to new war in Lebanon and
Iraq and this is how war will be regionalized. Conspicuously, UAE’s irrational
stand that has become the main base off the anti –turkey sentiment and wants
Saudis in clash with Iran.it is matter of fact only two Iranian missiles with such
precision can blot out economy and UAE itself.
 Syria war has now turned to world war. Through this war now Russia is a
regional country. Syria was the knot of whole region. Unfortunately it is now
untied and this factor will completely destroy the connection between the Red sea
and Persian Gulf. This war can be called Arab-Persian war or new Islamic civil
war. We can also call it invasion of the whole region but this war will end up with
destruction of whole region with no winner and western armies are spreading
throughout the region.
Whatever the cost this region will have to pay as consequence of this war is still
arguable but this all whole region will face due to few imbeciles at the helm of
affairs.
