MATH AMITY
CLASS KG
ROLL NO TOPICS PRE-PLANNING

practices his/her counting skills.

8-14 Nuts and Bolts: A Sorting Activity Get students to help you clean, while
sneaking in a little math along the way.
Sorting objects by size, color, shape, or
function (FROM A TOOL BOX) is an
important concept in mathematical
reasoning,

15-21 Play Number Memory Match Up Playing games allows your student to
learn, practice and reinforce many useful
skills such as following directions, taking
turns, and making predictions. Try this
new twist to the traditional memory game
to help your kindergartener match number
symbols to the correct quantity while
sharpening her memory skills!

22-28 Paper Pumpkin Numbers Numbers are difficult to learn because they
represent something abstract. Yes, student
can count out six(any number) pumpkins
or six crayons but what is a six all by
itself? That’s a much harder concept to
grasp. Add to this the problem that
numbers can be written so many different
ways. Help child get the hang of this tricky
concept and build up his confidence with
this fun math game.
29 - 35 MORE OR LESS Encourage student to compare and contrast
a wide variety of autumn-themed items as
he/she learns to weigh the various objects
and record her findings.
