HOW TO MAKE YOUR

OWN PLACARD
Get yours ready for the march

What you need:

A3 sized card or bigger
Thicker card is sturdier and won’t bend
Felt tip pens
Double sided tape
Stick
Length of wood approximately 80cm
Flat sided works better than curved
Wrap handle with tape to prevent splinters

You need a simple, clear message. Just three, four or five words
is best. Be eye-catching. Bright colours, clear text and simple,
effective images. Make an impact. Be deadly serious,
or be hilarious. Just don’t be mild.
