Hi, the world is in danger. Air pollution, water pollution and land pollution cause by the consumers.

We, consumers have the massive impact of our

shared environment. According to a study, the consumers that driving the impact on the planet, the obvious primary factors taking a toll on the environment
– like industry and agriculture – and instead realize whose needs those things are servicing. From that perspective, researchers say household consumers
are by far the biggest drain on the planet, which makes for a very different picture to purely nation-focused analyses of environmental impact. We should
probably be looking at our own habits and demands.
Nature provides us with the food we eat, the water we drink and the air we breathe. We depend on it to grow our crops, to source our medicines,
to house us and to clothe us. See, how we really are dependent to this world? We live in this world, where people only think about only for money. They kill,
they destroy, just for money. As the economy goes up the natural environment goes down. We only think for our short time satisfaction. In short, just for
ourselves today without thinking for tomorrow’s generation. Businesses, politics, education affects our economy, but destroys our environment. We consume
a lot but not sustaining the natural resources for the future generation. Sustainable consumption would not be visible.
Let’s go back from the very beginning. Your mother give birth of you. Your family invested time to you, waited for so long to get you where you
were right now. They consumed energy to make money to sustain your daily needs. They consumed money for you to be send to school. And when the time
you will get work and make money. Everything that they invested to you, you can able to pay them back. They do everything they consumed energy to you, for
you to sustain. And I wish that we would be like our parents as a consumer to our shared environment. But sad to say we consume but the environment paying
as back the consequences of our wrongdoings. Tree cleans the air, man builds factory, factory poisons the air, man destroys tree, man breathes the air and
man dies.
We are producing over 300 million tons of plastic every year, 50% of which is for single-use purposes – utilized for just a few moments,
but on the planet for at least several hundred years. More than 8 million tons of plastic is dumped into our oceans every year. The consequences
of the plastic waste dumped into the water are terrifying. To some estimates, about 200 areas have become ‘dead zones’ where no life organisms can
now grow. The ocean is not broken, but consumer behavior is. A new study published in Nature estimates the planet has 3.04 trillion trees. The research
says 15.3 billion trees are chopped down every year. It also estimates that 46% of the world's trees have been cleared over the past 12,000 years.
See, how we consumed a lot from the environment without even thinking of sustaining it? We are cutting down our forests, overfishing our seas, polluting our
rivers, degrading our soils and changing our climate. This poses an urgent threat to all life on Earth – including ourselves. The environmental effects of
producing the goods and products we buy every day – consumers are responsible for more than 60 percent of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions,
and up to 80 percent of global water use.
Warren Wiersbe, clearly stated that “You and I cannot change or control the world around us, but we can change and control the world within us.”
Consuming with self-discipline, sustainable consumption would be possible. With a simple act of a certain individual there’s a change at the distance.

People overuse the natural resources with no exchange. In the other words, we give so much time of making things for money, but not saving the
natural and beautiful world where we live in. What if there is no economy? Economy just think for greed over need, profit over people, price over cost,
sufficient over efficient. Mas kusog nang bagyo kaysa sa una. Mas polluted, mas nidaghan ang wildfire ug mas nidaghan ug carbon than ever before. more
trees are cut down than ever before. ni increase ang extinction sa hayop of 1000 times of the normal rate. 50 years from now every beloved animals will be
predicted to be extinct. ero is gone, ering is gone, ilaga, pato, manok is gone. Mga species na kauban nato in a long time will be gone because of us. Do you
have wondered how beautiful this world is? We are perfectly position to the sun so we will not be burn. We not too far so we don’t turn to ice. So we are just
right in this paradise. We have this rainforest produce 20% of the world’s oxygen. Which we called amazon. This rainforest is 20% sa atung hininga, if kani
mawala 20% of our life breathing will be gone. Man is wise but not wise enough. We use our wisdom for our own good not for everybody’s good. Crisis is not
global warming, lack of sustainable consumption, environmental destruction but the real crisis is US.
