ASSESSMENT CENTER

PERSONNEL DUTIES& FUNCTIONS


ASSESSMENT CENTER MANAGER

The School Administrator is the Assessment Center Manager of the School.


He is responsible over the whole operation of the Assessment Center.

The specific functions include the following:

1. Oversees the general functions and duties of the CACS – Focal Person;
2. Implements all policies promulgated by the Technical Education & Skills
Development Authority;
3. Approves and signs the Registry of Workers Assessed and Certified
(RWAC) Report;
4. Approves capital expenditures and signs all major disbursement within the
budgetary limit;
5. Signs all contracts and legal papers of the assessment center;
6. Performs all other duties and functions incidental to the office and those
assigned to him/her by the Board of Trustees.

CACS – FOCAL PERSON / PROCESSING OFFICER

The CACS – Focal Person is under the supervision, administrative control and
technical direction of the Assessment Center Manager.

The CACS – Focal Person shall primarily be responsible for the efficient and
effective management and operation of the Assessment Center. She shall perform the
normal and regular duties and functions which shall include but not limited to the
following:

1. Assists the Assessment Center Manager in all matters affecting general


policies of the assessment center;
2. Takes charge for the admission of applicants and provides information on
assessment;
3. Supervises the over-all process of the assessment.
4. Supervises the duties and functions of the competency assessors;
5. Contacts and assigns assessors and make schedules for the assessment;
6. Submits Registry of Workers Assessed and Certified (RWAC) Report to
TESDA Provincial Office (PO);
7. Attends in meetings, seminars, conferences and other gatherings related to
his/her functions especially called by TESDA;
8. Performs all other duties and functions incidental to the office assigned to
him/her by the manager of the AssessmentCenter.
OFFICE CLERK

The Office clerk shall perform the normal and regular duties and functions
which shall include but not limited to the following:

1. Prepares Registry of Workers Assessed and Certified (RWAC) Report;


2. Keeps and maintains all documents including admission slip, rating sheets
and test package, RWAC report, Competency Assessment Result
Summary (CARS),
3. Maintains up-to-date and systematic recording of assessment records.

FINANCE OFFICER

The Finance Officer shall receive payments for assessment and issues
corresponding official receipts for these collection;
ASSESSOR

The Assessor is under the supervision of the CACS – Focal Person. She shall
be primarily responsible for the planning and managing the assessment process and
shall perform the normal and regular duties and functions such as, but not limited to
the following:

1. Administers and follow strictly the methods of assessment prescribed in


TESDA competency assessment methodology.
2. Maintains accurate records and confidentiality of the assessment
procedure, evidences collected and the outcome according to the policies
and procedures set by TESDA;
3. Endorses assessment results or outcomes to the CACS – Focal Person;
