AGLOMERANTES
CEMENTO: Dan a los morteros y hormigones máxima resistencia.
Cemento Tipo I
Olivo.
Cerezo.
ADDED
The Arena is a fine aggregate for extended and frequent use in construction.
GRAVILLA: It is called gravel the set of small stones, whose size size is between 2 and
64 mm. Its use is for columns, floors, lightened slab.
THICK SAND: Its particles have a maximum size of 5 mm. and it is used in the
preparation of the mixture to settle the bricks and in the preparation of the concrete.
FINE SAND: Its particles must have a maximum size of 1 mm. It is used in the
preparation of a mixture for the walls, for ceilings and mortar.
of seated brick caravista.
AGLOMERANTS
CEMENT: They give mortars and concrete maximum strength.
Type I Cement
It is the cement of general, common and common use in concrete constructions and
masonry work.
Type II Cement
This cement has moderate resistance to sulfate attack, it is recommended to use in
aggressive environments. Sulfates are substances that appear in groundwater or in
soils.
Type III Cement
This cement is characterized by its rapid resistance development. It is recommended to
use when you want to advance the formwork.
Type IV Cement
Recommended for emptying large works, where the heat generated during hardening
should be minimized.
Type V Cement
Very high resistance to the attack of salts, Applications: canals, sewage, groundwater,
use in port works exposed to marine waters, swimming pools.
STEEL
Steel is a combination of iron and carbon (about 0.05% to less than 2%).
TYPES:
CORRUGATED STEEL: Corrugated steel, corrugated rod is a kind of rolled steel specially
designed to build structural elements of reinforced concrete.
GALVANIZED STEEL: Galvanized steel is a type of processed steel with a treatment at
the end of which it is coated with several layers of zinc. These zinc layers protect the
steel by preventing it from rusting.
STAINLESS STEEL: Stainless steel is an alloy of iron and carbon that by definition
contains a minimum of 10.5% chromium.
WOOD
Piece of wood cut or carved.
TYPES:
SOFT WOODS: They are very flexible to work, they are easy to handle for the
carpenter.
Examples of softwoods:
Cedar. Doors
Cypress. Chairs tables
Elm. Musical instruments
Pine. Tables chairs,
Poplar. It is used to make wooden boxes for packaging.
HARD WOODS: It is more resistant to handling and a machine with greater power is
needed to achieve the necessary cuts.
Hardwood examples:
Oak. It is recommended for carpentry to assemble, naval, hydraulic works.
Walnut.
Mahogany. Frequent use in the manufacture of furniture, tables and chairs,
cabinets.
Olive tree.
Cherry tree.
