I. LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
1. Identify the pronouns in the sentences.
2. Appreciate the importance of pronoun in constructing a sentence.
3. Complete the given sentence with correct pronoun.

A. PRELIMINARY ACTIVITIES

h. Motivation
The teacher will show a paragraph with missing words and the students will
complete it using pronoun.

James and Mary were siblings. One day _____ return from school. _____were
very hungry and went straight into the kitchen. _____ wanted to eat something.
In the kitchen _____saw a cat. It was drinking the milk mother had kept for
James ran out for screaming. _____was scared. _____was afraid of cats. Mary

ACTIVITY 1
The students will be grouped into three groups. With the use of pronouns,
Group 1 will present it through short action drama. Group 2 will present it
through pageant and Group 3 through reporting. Students will present a short
yell before their presentation.

B. LESSON PROPER
The teacher will discuss the meaning of pronoun and its usage. Why do we replace pronoun into
a noun

ACTIVITY 2
Group the students into 5. Each group will write their experiences during their selection meet at Kalawit
National High School. Make sure to use pronoun.
C. GENERALIZATION
 What is a pronoun?
 Why do we use pronoun in a sentence?
 What is the importance of using pronoun?

IV. EVALUATION
