Good morning ladies and gentlemen..

Welcome to EIA Speech Competition 2019! Thank you for joining, and
hopefully all of you will get more knowledge and experience from this
competition.
Okay. First of all, let us introduce myself. My name is ..... and ..... We will be
the Master of Ceremony of this competition. We will introduce you 3
adjudicators of this Speech Competition.
 The first adjudicator is Ms. Nifia Anda Ningrum from Education Bridge.
 The second adjudicator is Mr. Reinaldy Aulia Kurniawan from Just Speak.
 The third adjudicator is Ms. Desi Setianingrum from GoGoCourse
Lampung.
(Please give applause for our adjudicators.)

So ladies and gentlemen, let me brief the rules during the competition:
1) No disturbance (e.g. making a noise, taking pictures with a flash, cellphone ringtone,
etc.)
2) Timing will begin with the participant’s first definite verbal or nonverbal
communication. The participant should not make a mistake when they perform
because the duration will keep running.

3) The participants will be called three times in a row based on their turn to perform
(first chance). Participant who doesn’t show up at the first call, three times in a row,
will be called on the last turn (second chance).
Participants who don’t come on the second chance will be Disqualified.
4) For this preliminary round,
 The minimum duration of each participant’s performance is 5 minutes and the
maximum duration is 7 minutes with extra 30 seconds to end the speech.
Disobeying the duration of the performance will decrease 5 points for every 30
seconds.
  The participants should not bring and read the text when performing.
 There is no question from the adjudicators in this round.
Okay, ladies and gentlemen, that’s all the brief rules. And we want to INFORM YOU THAT
we will give you some questionnaires about EIA 2019.
