Regional Manager

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the successful candidate will manage the sales of the
Company’s products in their corresponding Region, ensuring sales growth and quota achievement.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Meet or exceed customer expectations and provide the highest level of customer

• Collaborate with the National Sales Manager to develop annual sales quotas for the region

• Collaborate with the Distribution Account Manager to manage sales activities and relationships
with distribution branches in the territory

• Collaborate with the National Account Manager to manage sales activities and relationships with
National Account branches in the territory

• Quota achievement monthly, quarterly and annually

• Create and develop effective sales strategies to lead and direct the Manufacturer’s
Representatives (MRs) toward achievement of the regional sales objectives through growth of
existing integrators and by recruiting new integrators

• Build and manage a robust pipeline, assuring project closures in the territory

• Provide leadership through effective communication of corporate vision, mission and strategies

• Assure effective hiring, orientation, training of MRs

• Lead by example by visiting customers and working with Integrators and MRs

• Maintain competitive knowledge and create and adjust sales strategies accordingly

• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with all channel and technology partners to
address key business issues and opportunities

• Participation in monthly sales webinars, quarterly review meetings and local and national trade
shows

Qualifications:

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business with 5 years of sales experience and at least 3 years of experience
managing a sales organization
Required Skills and Experience:

• A demonstrated ability to lead and manage a sales team

• Be able to utilize CRM tools for managing the sales process, including entering, managing and
updating contacts, pipelines, opportunities and project registrations

• A proven ability to achieve sales plans

• Experience in recruiting and retaining high performance MRs

• Exceptional negotiation skills

• Strategy development, project management and problem solving skills

• Ability to build positive working relationships, both internally and externally

• Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills

• Effective ability to negotiate with all levels of customer’s management

• Ability to function effectively in a face paced and changing work environment

• Business related computer skills including Microsoft Office and Prezi

• Ability to travel as required to perform job duties, estimated to be at least 50%
