My Philosophy of Teaching

1. Progressivism

● Believe that education should focus on the whole child, rather than on the

content or the teacher. This philosophy stresses that students should test

ideas by active. Learning is rooted in the questions of learners that arise

through experiencing the world. It is active, not passive. The learners are a

problem solver and thinker who make meaning through his/her individual

experience in the physical and cultural context. Teachers are the facilitator,

coaches and change agent. And also it is concerned with "Learning by doing"

and purports that children learn best when pursuing thier own interests and

satisfying their own needs.

2. Progressivism

● Why to teach- To develop learners into enlightened and citizine, and also to

incourage them to share their knowledge to us. To learn more especially to those words

and phrase that a lot of child didn’t know what it is all about. And also it is about

focuses on teaching, Teacher may focus on their students.

● What to teach- We need to teach about the natural social sciences, learners

should be able to cope with changes in life and also in problem solving, because we

all know that all problems have a solutions, ethier it is hard problem or not.

● How to teach- We need to provide a place for students to actively learn, solve

problem, and participate in hands on learning. Those students are active learners that

test ideas by experimentation. Also need to use experiential method, learning by doing,

and use problem solving methods. It is also important that the teacher just a facilitator of

his/her students.
