• Read the instructions below to learn how to track important lab results and view trends over time
using this "Tracking Labs" spreadsheet.
General Instructions
• Click on the "Lab Results" tab (located at the bottom left of your screen). You will see an empty
sheet for recording lab results.
• After each health visit, record the date(s) and the test results. The dates must be typed in a 2-
digit format only. We suggest using month & year (for example: 1/12).
• Date must be typed in 2-digit format only. Otherwise the "Trends" tab will not align properly.
Looking at Trends
• To track changes in a specific test over a long period of time, click the "Trends" tab (located at the bottom
of this workbook). You will be able to see each individual lab result in graphs.
• To print your results, click "Control + P." A pop-up menu will appear. Under the "Print what"
option, select "Entire Workbook" or "Active Sheet."
• Systolic blood pressure is the top number in a blood pressure reading. It represents the amount of
pressure blood puts on vessels when the heart is beating.
• Diastolic blood pressure is the bottom number in a blood pressure reading. It measures the pressure in
your blood vessels

• Record the dates of each test and the results. You must type the date in a 2-digit format ONLY. Use month/year or month/day. Example 7/12 .
• To view trends over time, click the "Trends" tab.
