My favorite summer vacation.

Last year my summer vacations had started, coincidently my parents were also free
during that period of time, November 2018. So, we decided to utilize this time in a
constructive manner. So we started to plan a holiday. We were in a dilemma between
England and Dubai. Me and my father were more inclined to Dubai so therefore going
by the majority we finalized Dubai as our final holiday destination. The trip was
scheduled between 17 to 21 November and i was waiting for it anxiously. Gradually
days flew by me waiting for the trip. On 17 November i did not sleep an hour until we
reached the hotel, i slept for 3 hours in satisfaction, finally reaching Dubai. We stayed at
hotel Atlantis it has an aquatic theme it is one of the best hotels in Dubai. I tried some
Arabic cuisine, I despised it.

I will forever be more inclined towards Japanese dishes rather than any other cuisine
unlike my parents. So I ordered a huge platter of salmon prawn sushi. The only
available thing for picking up the food and eating were chopsticks. I hogged the food as
It was very tasty and I was starving too. After having our breakfast, I took a “Power
nap”. In the afternoon we decided to visit Dubai mall. I was at cloud nine during my visit
to the mall.it was gigantic and bigger than one can imagine, later on I came to know
from the locals that It takes days to explore the entire mall in one go, they were not
wrong; after hours of constantly exploring parts of the mall I walked till my legs ached.
Now all of us were run-down and hungry, we were surrounded by restaurants and cafes
I fell into dilemma deciding which one to go to and we ended up eating at the
cheesecake factory and there I had elected my new favorite caramel and blueberry
cheesecakes of all time. And then after all that it was around 7 pm and a tired me so we
went back to the hotel, ate and slept.

Day 2 was a big day as we were going to visit the tallest building in the world, burj al
khalifa, the picture of burj Khalifa in my head was allot smaller than in reality, it was allot
taller than I imagined. The building had over 200 floors, it stood dominant at the height
of 830 meters we visited the 156th floor, it had the perfect view of the so glorified Dubai
mall’s dancing fountain it moves completely synced to the music, we also went to the
balcony, the wind was extremely chilly and the height was frightening so after taking a
few pictures I got right down from there and headed right for the elevator which was the
fastest and largest elevator I had ever seen so we were headed straight for Krispy
Kreme to eat some donuts and have some coffee. And it was about 10:30 and it had
been a long day so we headed straight for the hotel and slept without eating dinner as
we were all exhausted.

Day 3 consists of my visit to JBR dubai the place has marvelous beachfront cafes, world
class hotels, a delightful shopping experience, excellent walking environment were
there to entertain the people. Full form of JBR is Jumierah Beach Residence, it
stretches 1.7 kilometers along the Arabian Gulf. This beachside community is the
largest single phase residential development on the globe. Here I saw all my dream
cars lined up in one place looking majestic and establishing dominance over other cars,
jbr had another branch of “the cheesecake factory” I was really tempted but I controlled
it as we had a huge place left to explore almost every shop there had a beach view
which looked astonishing and it also had a real madrid store which is my favorite soccer
team till date so I ended up buying a t shirt then I went on to explore it has allot of brand
shops with great restaurants too that I had never heard about and found them to be
some of the best foods that I had ever eaten in my life. And this was finally the one
place where I did not have dinner in a rush and eating on a rooftop restraint right in front
of the beach felt really amazing.

Day 4 for me contained mixed feelings of happiness and sadness, on day 4 we went
back to Dubai mall to witness the amazing fountain for the last time, do shopping
without any bars for the last time and catch a glimpse of the Burj Khalifa for the last time
for my flight back to Jaipur was at 5:30 pm and I would not experience the wonders of
Dubai for a very long time, so there I was at the airport with sadness filled in my head so
I boarded the flight, stared out of the window at the wonderful city as long as the clouds
did not block my view.
