X-Race
It is time to build a bot, less like a bot but more like an SUV. Be prepared for the
dirt, the hills, the pots, the slopes, the tarmac and obstacles you will better prefer to
avoid. Here we invite zealots from all parts of the country to bustle their bots in the X-
Race arena. The twitchy terrains are ready to test your bot's speed and agility and to
provide a groovy experience to the speed fanatic in you. We make your dream to off-
road come true! So get up, pick your tools and get crackin!

Rules and Regulation

1. A team may have a maximum of 4 members from same or different colleges.
2. Every participant must be enrolled in an undergraduate program. College pass
outs and post graduate students will not be allowed to participate.
3. College/Institution’s Identity card is necessary at the registration desk while
registering to participate and at all times during the event, failing which will lead
to direct disqualification. Identity card can be an online student portal as well.
4. An individual cannot be a member of more than one team for the event.
5. A robot, stabilizer, or any other equipment cannot be shared by two or more
teams.
6. Adopting unfair means will lead to direct disqualification of the team.
7. A healthy spirit of participation is expected from each and every participant.
8. Team roles are to be specified at the time of registration. Replacement of any
particular contestant will not be allowed after the registration is done.
9. Teams will be slotted on a “First Register First Entry” basis, during the initial
rounds. No favors or partialism will be done. A Registration Link will be put up
on the event premises to enroll teams name in the queue.
10. Teams are expected to arrive before deadline.
In knockout stages, teams delaying will be penalized with late starts, or may
even be disqualified for being more than 15 minutes delay.
11. During the knockout rounds, team will be given a time frame, failing to show up
at the assigned time will lead to disqualification.
12. Teams are not allowed to question event administrator about any knockout
fixture. In that case, team may be disqualified after few warnings.
13. If any team is having any trouble as far as the event is concerned, they are to
contact the event administrators.
14. Administrators reserve the right to change/add/remove any of the above rules in
case of any ambiguity.
15. Decision of the event administrators will be final and binding.

The Knockout Round

1. 20 teams qualifying for the knockout stages will be sent message to their
respective contact numbers and e-mail addresses, submitted during
registration.
2. Teams must be present as per their given time slot, failing which will lead to
auto-qualification of their opponent in the next round.
3. Round of 20 will be a direct knockout.
Round of 10 will be also a direct knockout, but with an added time factor.
Among 5 Winning Teams who proceed for the next round, the 3 teams who has
the best timing would directly qualify for semifinal.
The remaining 2 teams will be playing an eliminator for the 4th position in
Semi Final.
Then. there will be two semifinal, following which, is the Finals of this
edition’s X-Race.
