Lifestyle In The Village and In The City

The city is the center of everything from lifestyle to fast food chains. Advances in technology and
integration of the culture of life in the city offer a variety of opportunities and facilities. Life with fast-
paced, all-round and easy-to-move in the city may seem attractive to us. While the village is one of the
places we go on vacation. The boundaries of the area with the arrangement of fruit trees, rivers,
puddles, expanse of vacant land can be a playground in the village. Rituals, celebrations, traditions and
even the morning dew on the grass are exclusive to the villages.

Food, is an important aspect of life and any social system. Type of food, type of cuisine and how to
eat is different in each different group. Life in a very busy city, food has a very prominent place and is in
harmony with lifestyle. Most in the city, food is a simple and quick affair. Buy, Take away and delivery
very often occurs in cities in this case. The village is a place of traditional homemade food and delicious.
Even the raw materials used in cooking are also homemade results. Sometimes even a little or no
mixture of chemicals in the food processed in the village.

In terms of food there is and the difference between food in the city and in the village. the
difference is that the food in the village is much cheaper than the food in the city, the village people
prefer natural and healthy food while the urban people choose instant food or fast food, the type of
village food is traditional and characterizes the food in the area while the urban food seems modern.

The differences in clothing in villages and cities are also very significant. People in rural areas tend
to dress very modestly, for example wearing sarong, shawl, kebaya cloth, while in urban areas, the way
to dress is elite and luxurious, for example wearing a suit, fashionable clothes according to trends, and
almost forgetting traditional clothes. Clothing in the city is more modern than clothing in the village.
Clothing in the city is also more expensive than in the village.

In terms of work in villages and in cities there are significant differences. Jobs in cities are usually
located in the industrial sector while in villages in the agricultural or livestock sectors. Most of the work
in the villages still uses manual / simple tools, while in the city they use modern tools. Work in the city is
more difficult than work in the village because work in the city is demanded by time to get maximum
results, whereas in the village, farming and raising work does not require time for maximum results. Jobs
in the city earn more than jobs in the village.

The difference in the field of transportation is very clear between transportation in the city and in
the village. Transportation in the village varies greatly from walking, horse-drawn carriages, bicycles, and
modified motorbikes. Long distance travel is usually done using public buses. The village is identical
with rock road infrastructure and is full of puddles. But unlike in cities, vehicles and heavy traffic are the
main characteristics of the city. Most city residents have private vehicles. In addition, there are many
options with transportation facilities that are already available. Trains, buses, taxis, public
transportation, motorcycle taxis, and so on, even now there are easier online transportation.

A striking difference is that in villages there is not much vehicle pollution because the majority of
villagers use bicycles or walk. Whereas in the city many people use motorized vehicles. In the village the
price of riding in transportation is very cheap than in cities that seem expensive, transportation in the
city is more comfortable than in the village because there are many and easy to find public
transportation.

The village offers a variety of beautiful, calming and peaceful natural scenery. Air free from
pollution and emissions. The city is crowded, polluted and chaotic. Very little encouragement and
awareness of cleanliness. Both villages and cities continue to develop on the path to technological and
economic progress. There is no conclusion that life in a village or city is better. All depends on the
community to enjoy the beauty and rigors of life.
