Keeping Up with the Joneses

October 2019
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1
Dear Family and Friends,
The inferred basis of faith in the above verse, of course, is God. Faith in God is not baseless, abstract, or
vague, but, as the verse states, there is evidence and plenty of it. It is creditably referenced in the
subsequent verses from creation through Old Testament history, then we have New Testament history,
and even current history as we see clear evidence through our lives today as well. The world needs to
see/hear such evidence in our lives.

Trusting God...and He finally brought a little rain last week, for
which we are thankful. It has been so hot for so long, but I’m very
thankful for air conditioning. I’m still doing therapy for my knee
twice a week, and progressing well. Thank you for your ongoing
prayers. Joseph would appreciate prayer as he has a full load of
difficult classes and is also working on campus again this semester.
Samuel & Kailey still need your prayer as they pursue adoption and

raise support to go to Colombia. Carolyn has a new full time job with
the Prattville Sheriff’s department as a dispatcher, which she really is
enjoying. We celebrated birthdays for Eri, Sarah, and me together
last week (photo). Our family, like yours, always needs
prayer as we trust God to protect and guide us in
His ways. With love, AnnaMae
As always we are grateful for your

We are praying for you too. Blessings...
