CIVIL ENGINEERING
Civil Engineering department has produced several brilliant engineers
who have made significant contributions in the planning and execution
of Civil Engineering projects in the country. Apart from curriculum, the
department disseminates the knowledge through training programs and
interacts with world-renowned personalities through workshops.
COMPUTER SCIENCE & INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
The Department of Computer Engineering of the institute is known for
imparting state of the art education and preparing its students for real world
challenges. The department has computers of latest configuration connected in
local area network (wired and wireless) with Internet Connection of 1Gbps
leased line link and 100 Mbps 1:1 bandwidth. The department organises
events in collaboration with the industry with the objective of connecting the
students and their potential employers.
ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
The Department of Electrical Engineering of the institute is distinctly
focused towards integrating academics with cutting edge technology in
the field of electrical engineering. It aims to offer a comprehensive course
and enabling students to pursue higher education or professional careers
in their field of interest. Collaboration with faculty members across the
various disciplines, both within and outside the institute, is encouraged.
ELECTRONICS INTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL ENGINEERING
EIC Engineering is course with a specialization in the field of
instrumentation, control, design and operation of various machines and
automated equipment that are used in industries. Aim is to impart quality
education and research in the field of instrumentation and control
engineering.

ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING
This stream of engineering deals with analog transmission,
microprocessors, digital and analog communication, analog ICs,
microwave engineering, antennae and wave progression. It also deals
with the manufacturing of electronic devices, circuits and
communications equipment.
HUMANITIES & SOCIAL SCIENCE
The department encompasses a wide gamut of sub-disciplines of
Science, English and Humanities. The department aims to enhance the
students’ creativity and critical thinking by imparting knowledge and
awareness of humanistic studies to the young technocrats.
MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at GEC Ajmer is as old as the
institute itself. The department has well equipped and spacious laboratories.
Faculty not only strives to disseminate theoretical knowledge to the students
but inculcate the practical learning too. The faculty actively pursues research
through graduate students. R&D activities of the faculty members have
culminated in more than 100 publications in peer reviewed international and
national conferences.
MASTER OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS
Department of MCA was established, in 2006 with the aim at imparting
quality education and research in the field of Computer Science and
fulfils growing needs of IT industry. The duration of the course is 3 years
including a semester of project work.

The Department offers a 2-year master’s Programme in Business
Administration and PhD in various functional areas of business
