ABSTRACT
The McDonald’s Corporation is a global food service
corporation over 32,000 major restaurants spread in over 119 countries
and offers employment to 60 million people across its networks and
more. Its headquarters is in Illinois Oak Brook. At the business to
business level, the McDonald’s Corporation has won countless awards for
its recruitment, training, and benefits programs. The policies behind its
successes and the importance of the business to complete its tasks in
acceptable timelines. Thomas Blake who is the head of Human resource
at the McDonalds has assembled a team of store owners to come together
to examine whether the working environment and recruitment process
may be at the heart of the issue. Currently it has employed contractual
way of employing its workers whose majority are students working part
time.

1. INTRODUCTION:
McDonald's originally started as a small hamburger stand in
Bernardino, California, owned by Dick and Mac McDonald. With
determination to enhance their business Dick and Mac closed their
business for three months and re-opened December 1948 as a self-
service drive-in restaurant, serving only nine items: hamburger,
cheeseburger, potato chips, milk, coffee, and slices of pie Customers
visit its outlet on the daily basis because of the ability of McDonalds to
create a company’s image that enhances people to get accustomed to
the culture of fast food.

McDonald's fast food restaurant is one of the largest franchises in the


United States as well as aboard. Their top menu items include:
hamburgers, cheeseburgers, McNuggets, and French fries. They are
also known for one of their popular desserts: the apple pie and their
breakfast sandwich: the Egg McDuffie. In response to changing
consumer tastes and a negative backlash because of the unhealthiness
of their food, the company has added to its menu salads, fish,
smoothies, and fruit McDonalds has achieved the title of the leading
and largest fast food restaurant in the UK from its overall strategic
management concept of sustainable competitive market.

There are more than 32,000 McDonald's restaurants serving in 117


countries. More than 75% of McDonald's restaurants worldwide are
owned and operated by independent owners. McDonald's had its
original headquarters in Oak Brook, Illinois, but moved its global
headquarters to Chicago in early 2018.
2.MISSION STATEMENT:
Mc Donald brands mission is to be our customer favorite place and way
to eat. To be the best and leading fast food provider around the world.

VISION STATEMENT:
Being the best company for all employees in every community around
the world. Deliver services with superior operational system for each
customer in every branch of McDonald restaurants. Keep progressing in
a favorable direction as a brand, while continuing to develop
operational systems through innovation and technology.

2.1 ABOUT THE PROJECT:


This project is about McDonald’s which is fast food restaurant famous
all over the world. One of its largest franchises is in United States and
abroad as well. Their top menus include burgers, nuggets, French fries
etc. McDonald’s objectives are to reverse the decline of sales, to
continue staying ahead of the competition in the fast food industry and
to find new strategies that would help the restaurant successfully
compete in a competitive market. McDonalds has achieved the title of
the leading and largest fast food restaurant in the UK from its overall
strategic management concept of sustainable competitive market.
There are more than 32,000 McDonald's restaurants serving in 117
countries. Moreover, in this project we talk about the abstract,
introduction, mission and vision statement, further we show different
business processes and ERD diagram to present different business
processes.

5. CONCLUSION:
McDonald's is one of the largest fast food companies in the world. They
continue their path for success by keeping their consumers in mind
regarding their product selection as well as their prices. They encourage
their employees to do a good job, usually promote from within, and
offers several scholarships to encourage education. Though McDonald's
is a centralized, "wait and see" company they find ways to use
technological products that will increase their productivity, service, and
sales, McDonald's will certainly be around for plenty more years to
come.
