This study aims to assess the “Prospects of Online Selling of Baked Goods as

an Entrepreneurial Option in Metro Manila” around Manila City and Quezon City . A total

of sixty (60) respondents were involved in the study and composed of online sellers of

baked goods.

The researcher used the descriptive method to describe the assessment of

the prospects of online selling of baked goods as an entrepreneurial option in

Metro Manila in terms of Customer Value, Marketing and Selling. The convenience

sampling method was used in this study for the selection of the respondents and

used the following statistical tools: frequency and percentage distribution, and weighted

mean.

The customer value, marketing, and selling were evaluated by the respondents

to know whether the online selling of baked goods can be considered as an

enterpreneurial option.

The assessment of the respondents on customer value of online sellers

as an entrepreneurial option in Manila City shows that the online sellers are value

their customers more than the money that they receive from them. The online

sellers try their best that their customers meet their expectation when it comes with

the baked goods they purchase.

The assessment of the respondents on marketing of online sellers as an

entrepreneurial option in Manila City suggests that the online sellers engage with

their customers to gain their trust and to better explain the baked goods that they

will be purchasing. The online sellers updates regularly and does promotions on

their online shop to attract more possible buyers.

The assessment of the respondents on selling of online sellers as an

entrepreneurial option in Manila City shows that the online sellers are committed

when it comes with their customers be it in the convenience of the mode of

payment of the customers or the delivery of the baked goods, the income is not

fixed it is only based on the amount of the baked goods purchased.

An overall assessment of the respondents, who are the online sellers of baked

goods when it comes to customer value, marketing and selling, indicated that the

respondents are satisfied with their work.

The paper provides a number of recommendations for the assessment of the

online selling of baked goods as an entrepreneurial option in Metro Manila for the

improvement of the online sellers’ online page to better adhere to the customers needs

and satisfaction.
