1. Manpower – The right personnel for the right position is a sure bet for organizational effectiveness
and efficiency. Man, in management is referred as a human resource. People make sure materials,
machines, money and methods are utilized in a productive manner to achieve goals and objectives of
organizations.
2. Materials – A basic ingredient in management be it a service industry or a product industry. Most
of the industries locate them self-nearby to the availability of material
3. Machinery – The basic tools to produce goods or to generate services. Selection of an appropriate
machine not only enhances efficiency but also saves times and increases revenue. Tailoring the
requirement of the organization, Selections of a right technical machine and equipment, availability of
spare parts, evaluation of after sales services, substitutes and technology and the organization budget
are the crucial criteria while purchasing a machine.
4. Money –A medium that can be exchanged for goods and services and is used as a measure of their
values on the market.
5. Methods – Everything has a right way to do and this right way is known as a Method in
management. In short it means, an art of doing. A set of procedures and instructions is known as a
method. The visible methods of a company include: Plans, Policies, Procedures, and Data.
6. Management – Manage in roles of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling.
7. Minutes – A set of principles, practices, skill, tools and systems that work together to have more
value out of time with the aim of quality of work. The Timeframe needed to deliver the work.
8. Marketing – Responsibility for directing expenditures of marketing funds. the process allocating
the resources of the organization toward marketing activities.
9. Measurement –A large volume of laws and regulations now exist, specifying standards of conduct
and controls that must be complied with by organization. Quantified observations of some aspect or
attribute of a process, product or project. Measurements enhance our ability to understand things not
accessible to our native abilities and intelligence.
10. Motivation/Morale – Willingness to exert effort to achieve a goal or objective. Getting people to
contribute their maximum effort towards the attainment of organizational objectives.
