Course Description
The course is designed to train the students to develop listening skills with knowledge and practices on listening to English spoken
texts, so that they will be able to retrieve information accurately. Teaching materials have been selected to accommodate students’
interest and level, so that they may enjoy the texts they are listening to. The materials are in the forms of short conversation, longer
conversation, dialog, and talks and lectures. Lessons are delivered through problem based learning and conducted through class
discussion. Classroom activities may include individual or group work. Students’ learning outcomes will be evaluated by their scores
in mid-termtest, final test, assignments, quizzes, and in-class participation.
