Smart Walk-Thrus
The Smart Walk-Thrus App allows you to create tip balloons on your site
to help users through any online process. Just like a GPS guides you from
start to finish where you want to go, a Smart Walk-Thru will guide your
user through an online process with interactive step-by-step guidance.

• Help users through common support queries

• Train new or migrating users
• Promote new features

Resources
The Resources App allows you to make your existing materials (i.e. FAQs,
QRGs, or etc) available directly on your site. Your users can then access
the resource in any of the same ways they access a Walk-Thru and it will
appear in a lightbox on the screen or in a new tab.

• Display video to explain a feature

• Add easy access to commonly used documents

Shuttles
The Shuttles App can be used to quickly take users to pages that are
several clicks away or difficult to find. Shuttles in the Player Menu are
similar to bookmarks in your browser.

• Take users to commonly used forms or pages

• Direct users to pages that are multiple clicks away
• Share documents that are not hosted on your website
• Act as a call-to-action to sign up for service or purchase a product

Launchers
The Launchers App allows you to create quickstart buttons you can place
on your site that can start another WalkMe action when clicked (i.e play a
Smart Walk-Thru, Resource, or ShoutOut). Launchers are highly effective
at increasing user engagement with your site and solving common
interface problems.

• Start a Walk-Thru on a troublesome form or page

• Open the Player Menu instead of using the WalkMe Widget
• Check a page for errors by running a series of SmartTip Validations

ShoutOuts
The ShoutOuts App allows you to create designed balloons to draw your
user’s attention to an important announcement. ShoutOuts can be built
with an action button that will launch another WalkMe item; with just one
click, the user can start a Walk-Thru, play a Resource, activate a Shuttle, or
open the Player Menu.

• Inform users of changes to your site

• Promote new services or features
• Announce maintenance or down time on your site

Onboarding
The Onboarding App lets you create a list of tasks for your user to
complete. Tasks are comprised of Smart Walk-Thrus or Resources.
Onboarding Tasks enables users to see their progress as they move
through the tasks, gamifying the experience and pushing them to
complete more Tasks and engage with WalkMe.

• Direct a new hire to complete necessary forms and become familiar with
important information about the company and the role
• Shorten site adoption time following the release of a new software, UI, or
feature
