Marketing and Sales

With the aim of satisfying customers, Pet’s Horizon has developed a marketing plan that
involves the following primary strategies:

5.1 Price

At the beginning, our business will mainly use the penetration pricing to attract a certain
number of customers. Pets’ Horizon will be priced at the medium of what the market bears,
competing with similar types of services in the area. For each service, we offer customers
with different price levels which are suitable for their pets and very reasonable. And we can
adjust our prices to satisfy customers if they have any special request.

5.2 Distribution

When it comes to service distribution, or placement, there are two things to consider. First of
all, how the customers will reach us to request the service, and secondly the area of operation,
which is where our business will act.

About the sales channel, that is, how the customers will reach our store, it will be a direct
channel, as the clients can contact us either through the website, Facebook page, or through a
phone call. Our website and Facebook page will offer customers with detailed and direct
information about our business and services to help them access to our services easily.

In terms of which location to operate in, we decide to choose the densely populated areas like
residential district or urban area as the number of pet owners live in these areas is on the rise,
and they are more concerned about their pets’ well being.

5.3 Promotion

In terms of promoting our services, we will apply the following methods.

 Advertising

We will run our advertisements on social media networks (Instagram, Twitter, YouTube), as
people spend increasingly more time there. These advertisements will announce special
events our company is sponsoring, special sales and discounts. Our Facebook page will also
be updated often with interesting facts, funny images and other appealing information, so as
to keep the company in the mind of the clients.

In addition, we will distribute advertising brochures and flyers to pet stores and pet
associations, as well as with the local places which will allow it, such as coffee shops, parks
and others.

 Discounting

A customer loyalty program will provide special discounts to those registering for Pet’s
Horizon membership or referring friends and family members to our business.

We also offer other discounts to encourage customers to buy more and gain better branding.
We will provide some discounts on special events such as the open of our store or the
birthday of customers and their pets. In such events, our products (pet food, clothing, ...) can
be sale up to 50% off.

 Sales promotion

Our sales promotion strategies consist of:

- Coupons: We will offer some free pet’s services to frequent customers.

- Sampling: We will use this promotion to introduce new products and services and make sure
that they can satisfy customer preferences.

 Public relations

By developing professional relationships with local pet lover community, we will promote
our brand by sponsoring special events such as pet care and animal protection. Moreover, we
also create a fanpage and group on Facebook to increase people’s awareness of these issues.
