INTENSIVE ENGLISH 4A
1. Select one literary work of your choice, from a Costa Rican author. Include aspects
about the plot, characters, settings and important events. Use the circles for basic
information, and on the lines below write some more details and ideas.

2. At home: use all the information in the previous charts to write your first draft. Add
any other information you consider interesting. Use between 100 and 120 words.
Divide your text into the following paragraphs:
Body: Include more specific information and details about the story: what, where,
when, with whom, why, etc. (8-10 sentences)
3. Nov 17th: Bring your first draft to class to do the peer editing activity with one of
your classmates. Then, take your corrections home.
4. At home: Write your final draft making the necessary corrections indicated by
your classmate or others of your own.; type it and do it double-spaced (in that
way I can make comments and corrections).
5. Nov 24th: Bring your final draft to class. Remember to bring these documents
stapled or with a paper clip and in this order from bottom to top: planning
chart (this page), first draft, final draft and peer editing form.
