average. Whether we work in high schools or colleges, we have a responsibility to improve awareness

Fostering Independence: Key features for Programs Servicing Students with


Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. 
This presentation will provide an overview of important skills, activities and supports needed to
help students in a life skills and functional academic program become as independent as they can for
their post secondary transitions. Topics include transition timelines, important program features for
success and supporting families in the post secondary transition process.

stock market and the economy make it difficult to plan a financially successful retirement.
Regardless, it is imperative to educate yourself and prepare for your financial future. In this
workshop, you will learn proven strategies for retirement planning. You will learn effective methods
to optimize and manage your 403b, 457 plans and other investments, prudent college saving
techniques, maximize your Social Security benefits and protect your investments against rising
healthcare costs.
