NOVENA PRAYER FOR OUR BELOVED DEAD

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, let us prepare ourselves to say this novena prayer for
our departed brother/sister

ACT OF CONTRITION
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended you. And I detest all my sins,
because I fear the loss of Heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all, because I
offended you my God, who are all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve,
with the help of your grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life.
Amen.

OPENING PRAYER:
ALL: O Lord, hear our prayer and be merciful to the soul of your servant
____________________,whom you have called out of this world. Grant him/her a
home of peace and light and bid him/her to enter into the company of your saints,
