How to list variation items

A & B have already been completed:

A. All Child items/variations have been imported into ecomdash with images
B. Parent SKUs have been created with the Child item attached

1. Inventory Management > Search for Base of the SKU (something that will pull up Parent
and child items)

2. Right Click on VIEW next to each CHILD item, select open in new tab
3. The parent won’t have an image so you will need to add one. Click View next to the
Parent SKU.
4. Click the Images tab
5. Upload an image that is a good representation of the item in general. It can be a
picture of any of the variations in this listing.
6. Go to the browser of each child item and Select Details tab

7. In the first CHILD item, scroll down to display MSRP and PRICE

8. Copy the MSRP into the Price field

9. Click SAVE
10. Go to all other child items and repeat steps 4 and 5.

11. Next you will return to one of the child items and you will copy the html code from it.
(This will need to be edited with additional information so that it includes the variations
information, but we will get to that step later.)

12. Scroll down to Listing Description, highlight, right click and select Copy.

13. Go back to the browser tab of the Parent SKU, scroll down to the Listing Description
field, paste the description in there. You will need to add in the variation information as
well, because the Parent SKU description needs to have ALL the information. Such as
“Available in Black, Red, Orange or Blue.” Or “Small: 4”x 6” x 2” Medium 5” x 7” x 3”
Large 6” x 8” x 4”.

14. Click on the Variations tab and click in the white box to the left of Manage Options

15. Select from the drop down, the variation options that apply to this item (In this
example the variation option is Size. We have a Small and a Large.

16. After you add the variation, select the drop-down Size that matches the item listed. Do
that for all variations.

17. After that is complete, go back to Parent SKU, click the check box to the left of View,
click on the blue Create Draft button.
18. After the Parent SKU is in draft, click on View, Select the listing template, select GO.
19. Confirm the title looks ok, the category selection is correct, enter the Ship from zip
code for that product. (You will need to look that up in the product spreadsheet since it
is not stored in the Parent SKU info.)
20. Click Save.
21. Click Publish
22. If it fails, correct the issue and try again.
23. After it does get listed successfully, you must edit the listing in eBay.
24. Make sure the description format is correct
25. Make sure the variable information is included in the body of the description
26. Check the "Charge sales tax according to the sales tax table" box
27. Put the weight and dimensions of the biggest variation (Very important or it won’t
charge the correct amount for shipping!)
28. Save
