Dear Mrs.

Ordas,

the tables refer to different components, please note that we have to

focus on just one are per incident. In our case this will be the tables
of the OLAP cache. However, concerning the other tables I can offer the
following:

1. Concerning RSSTATMANREQMAP see the information in the Wiki/SDN link:

https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/BI/Reduce+BW+Request+Administration+Tables

In case this does not solve the problem create a separate incident on
component BW-WHM-DST.

2. Concerning table SOFFCONT1 follow the instructions of KBA 1634908.

For further questions or in case of problems with the instructions create
a separate incident on component BC-SRV-COM.

3. Concerning RSR_CACHE_DATA_B and RSR_CACHE_DATA_C there are some thing

you should know.

First of all the Support Package ofsystem BPP is very old. It is running
on SAPKW73005, the last available SP for BW 7.3 is 17.
The problem is that some notes that are really important concerning the
cache size cannot be implemented with SP05. Hence my suggestion is to
upgrade to the newest BW Support Package as soon as possible, see
SAP note 375631

The first thing you should do is to run the report RSR_CACHE_FULL_RESET.

This report cleans up the cache administration tables completely. There
is also report RSR_CACHE_RSRV_CHECK_ENTRIES that can be used to delete
the OLAP cache. And that one can be used to delete them regularly restrict-
ed to a certain time frame. However, this report does not cleanup entries
that are 'lost' (table reference is missing), hence as first step
RSR_CACHE_FULL_RESET must be executed. You have to implement SAP note
1786506 to get this report.

Furthermore the following notes are important concerning issues with

cache administration tables:

1786506 - Safe & fast Reset of OLAP Cache content

1960886 - Flush-Operation fails for Query-Aggregate Cache Mode 5
2238660 - Long query startup times from too many cache entries
2081160 - Query Aggregate Cache Tables RSR_CACHE_DATA_B/C very large
2051317 - RSR_CACHE_FULL_RESET: Caches with Per Server Persistence not cleared
2050427 - Runtime error in report RSR_CACHE_RSRV_CHECK_ENTRIES
1996277 - Cache inconsistencies after deleting requests from InfoProvider
1985544 - Doubled Entries in OLAP Cache (REPAIR_FF_MISMATCH)
1932771 - Cache limitation on PDQ entries not effective
1786506 - Safe & fast Reset of OLAP Cache content
1777509 - Poor OLAP cache performance on mode 5 'BLOB/Cluster Enh.'
1760561 - Mode 5 BLOB/Cluster Enh. Cache: BLOB persistence not used
1668524 - RSRCACHE: deletion of persistent cache contents
1643106 - Cache entries deleted by RSR_CACHE_RSRV_CHECK_ENTRIES

Planning:
2198300 - Low cache performance in planning context
2194877 - BPC queries slow with OLAP cache
1711747 - Delimiting the Cache Objects for Plan Data Queries

Kind regards

SOFFCONT1

Hi Janak,

I ran the report RSBCS_REORG with the flag "Detailed Output" and "Test Mode" switched on
for the test date 21.05.2019 - 21.05.2019(One day) and I got the below result.

Selected Documents `````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````607

Documents to Be Deleted ``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````2

2019 Documents to Be Deleted ``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````2

Non-Deletable Documents
- Document is in a folder ```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````605
Matching table records to be deleted:
SOC3````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````4
SOFM ```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````2
SOOD`````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` 4

You can see that out of 607 documents only 2 documents are deletable and 605 are Non-
Deletable as these 605 documents are in SAP Business Workplace - Inbox for the user
"ADMIN"(Transaction SBWP) and 218083 unread documents which are Workbooks (as of
writing this reply and is continuously increasing as the Broadcast jobs are running).

The other two documents has no KPRO storage and deletion of these two documents does not
reduce any entries from the table SOFFCONT1.

Then I execute the report RSSO_DELETE_PRIVATE in Test Mode with the user ADMIN for
the creation date 21.05.2019 - 21.05.2019 + Radio button "All" selected next to Inbox

and got the below output.

Username Folder Number

ADMIN Inbox 590

Therefore you need to delete all these documents in the Inbox to reduce the size of SOFFCONT1
table.

Best regards,

Sreenatha
