4. Procedure
4.1 Introductory Pictures will be shown to the students.
Activity:

Ask the following questions:


1. What can you say about the picture?
2. What do you call the time when a woman carries a developing fetus in her uterus?

4.2 Activity GROUP ACTIVITY

Group students into five. Let them brainstorm the different terms. Each group will choose one
representative to report their answer to the class.

4.3 Analysis: After the activity, ask the following questions to the students:

1. How did you find the activity?


2. Are you familiar with the words being presented?

4. What are the phases of pregnancy?
4.4 Abstraction: The teacher will give additional information on various maternal health concerns (pre-during-post
pregnancy) and pregnancy- related concerns.

4.5 Application: GROUP ACTIVITY

Using the same groups, each group will brainstorm on the following questions based on their
observation on the different changes of a pregnant women.

1. What are the observable changes from a pregnant women?
2. Why do pregnant women differ in the observable changes?
3. What makes a pregnant women healthy and strong?
5. Assessment INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITY

 When women are pregnant, they need to be very conscious of the food they eat and what
they drink and the activities they engage in because more food, drinks and activities may
harm the child they are carrying.

something that a pregnant women should avoid, put X on the space provided. If the activity
