E w RESOLUTION NO. 06 SERIES OF 2008 A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE ENERGY REGULATORY COMMISSION'S SUPPORT TO HER EXCELLENCY'S ECONOMIC GROWTH PROGRAMS AND EXTENDING ITS WARMEST GREETINGS AND BEST WISHES ON THE OCCASION OF HER 61°" BIRTHDAY WHEREAS, on 05 April, 2008, Her Excellency President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo celebrates her 61" natal day: WHEREAS, the President has taken and continues to take bold steps to consolidate government efforts in sustaining the country’s economic growth momentum and eradicate poverty, WHEREAS, the President has steered the passage of the landmark legislation, Republic Act No. 9136, giving birth to the Energy Regulatory Commission (Commission), and opening the gates to reforms in the electric Power industry, thus, ensuring the quailty, reliability, security and affordability of electric power to all; NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, as the ERC hereby RESOLVES, to APPROVE and ADOPT, as it hereby APPROVES and ADOPTS, this Resolution expressing the Commission's full support to Her Excellency’s economic growth programs and extending to Her Excellency its warmest greetings and best wishes to President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo on the ‘occasion of her 61" birthday.
