Subject Non realization of Licence Fee for one year from the vendor of pay & use toilet at

Suratgarh station

An agreement was made with Sh Deepak Kumar for Pay and use toilet at Suratgarh station vide no
2MC/Pay & use/sulabh/SOG/2013 dated 04.06.2014. During scrutiny of record file of pay and use
toilet at Suratgarh Station for the Vendor Sh Deepak Kumar it was found that license fee was
deposited by vendor Sh Deepak Kumar as detailed below-

As per agreement a total license fee amounting to Rs 6,90,200/- was to be deposited by the vendor
till 24.01.2018 i.e. date of termination of tender where as it was revealed that for the period of
agreement from 25.10.2013 to 24.01.2018 amounting to Rs 5,27,800/- only was deposited. An
amount of Rs 1,62,400/- for the period from 25.10.2015 to 24.10.2016 was not deposited by the
vender. Further it was noticed that SS Suratgarh intimated Sr DCM, NWR Bikaner that no license fee
is pending against the vender Sh Deepak Kumar without any supporting document vide letter dated
11.07.2018. This is serious lapse and may be justified to audit further recovery of license fee
amounting to Rs 1,62,400/- along with penal interest @ 18% on late deposits of Licence fee may be
made from the concerned under intimation to Audit.
