Research Objectives To improve standardized English and improve students' ability to

recognize information technology in English
Problem Many students still have difficulty accessing information in
English

 With this research, students are able to understand how to learn

Benefits of Research to access information through true sophisticated technology
 Students begin to understand that learning about information
technology is a necessity of life.
Research methods The case study was used as a research method in this study, which
was conducted at the Department of English Education of a
university in Indonesia from May to July 2018. One lecturer and
six undergraduate students from paragraph writing classes were
deliberately selected as participants. The six students were
selected as respondents among 27 students based on their level of
writing ability; high, me-dium, and low, where each level is
represented by two students. Observations, interviews, and
document analysis are used as techniques for collecting data.
Observations were made both in the classroom and on the online
platform to reveal learning activities that took place in two
learning modes. Interviews with lecturers were conducted to
investigate teaching and learning activities in the course of writing
mixed paragraphs, while interviews with six students were
conducted to confirm information collected from lecturers using
open-ended questions. Meanwhile, document analysis is intended
to obtain supporting data from several sources, such as syllabi and
lesson plans. Two techniques are used to obtain reliable data,
namely triangulation and member inspection. Triangulation in this
research involves examining information gathered from different
methods, namely observation, interviews, and document analysis,
while member examinations are carried out by drawing
conclusions or information back to the participants so that they
can determine the accuracy of the conclusions.
Data were then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and
Huberman (2014). The three main steps of analysis consist of
condensing data, displaying data, and drawing and verifying
conclusions. Data condensation involves the process of selecting,
focusing, simplifying, abstracting, and / or changing data from
field notes, interviews, documents, and other empirical material.
Data display is a collection of compressed information that allows
drawing conclusions and actions, helping researchers understand
what happened and do something to either analyze further or to
act. Drawing and verifying conclusions is done from the
beginning of data collection by identifying patterns, explanations,
and causal flows. The three steps are interwoven before, during
and after data collection in parallel.

Journal Criticism  Research Strengths

In this journal the researcher explains about the development of
the English language students in detail by reflecting on
themselves. And using research methods as a sample of teacher
professional development. In the material section strengthened
with the opinions of experts so that it adds insight into this
journal. This journal provides a solution for how to develop
teacher professionalism by reflecting on oneself.

 Research Weaknesses
This journal does not provide steps when conducting research.
There are still references that are used too far in the year of this
journal reference. In the description of the table when being
discussed there is a lack of understanding of the contents of the
table
Research result Enabling students to understand how to speak good English with
the help of interactive technology that can inspire digital natives.

Suggestions Teachers should have more experience than students so teachers

can provide good standards for their students and students are also
able to understand what is conveyed by their teacher
