An application parameter determines the time supervision period between sending of RELEASE message and receiving of
RELEASE COMPLETE or RELEASE message using the T308 timer.
When BSC receives “Clear CMD” message from MSC, BSC will start T3109, and after this time, Network will ignore the “ERROR
INDICATION” message from BTS. So if we MSC can send “CLEAR COMMAND” before T200 expiry, by changing T305 and T308,
then the drops which are not subscriber perceived but triggered due to T200 expiry will be ignored.
T3122 defines the period that the MS must wait for before the second trial calling if the first trial calling fails.
It aims to avoid congestion of SDCCH due to repeated trial calling by MS and to relieve system load.
The value of T3122 is included in the immediate assignment reject message. After the MS receives the immediate assignment
reject message (no channels for signaling, A interface failure, overload of central processing unit, namely, CPU), it can send new
trial calling request after T3122. T3122 aims to relieve radio signaling and voice channel resources.
T3122 also help avoid systematic overload. When the CPU is overloaded, the system multiplies T3122 by a factor (determined
by processor Load Supconf) to increase T3122 through overload control. In peak load time, you can manage network access by
increasing T3122. Namely, you can increase the interval between two continuous trial callings to relieve network load.
Minimum time between allocation attempts at an urgency condition and when the first allocation attempt has failed.
In the case an urgency handover attempt fails due to congestion, the locating process will proceed and even a handover
candidate list will be prepared. However the candidate list will not be transferred to the handover function during the time
specified by the parameter TURGEN, unless the candidate list contains a better cell.
Range from 0 to 120, SACCH periods (480 ms).
Changed value = 6.
Minimum time between allocation attempts when there is a better cell condition and when the first allocation attempt
has failed.
In the case a handover, intra cell handover or overlaid/underlaid subcell change fails due to congestion, the locating
process continues but no handover candidate list will be prepared before the timer TALLOC has expired, unless an
urgency state is detected.
A good improvement in SD drop is observed after changing EIR/IMEI values as mention below.
