    Another wondrous week here in Vocabulary Upcoming
    fourth grade! This week Davis’ Preview Events
    grandma was our Mystery Reader and
    read a lovely book called If I Were Thursday- Friday 10/24-10/25:
    President. Then Makenna had her No list this Parent Teacher Conferences
    talent show today and talked to us upcoming
    about boogie boarding and then gave week! Friday 11/1:
    everyone a shell! Spelling Quiz

    This Week’s Focus Reminders


    •  Math: Chapter 3: 2-Digit by 2-Digit and 3-Digit Multiplication and Long
    Division: We spent time this week focusing on how to multiply by 2 •  We officially started spelling
    and 3 digit numbers, as well as beginning long division! Remember this week!
    to check under math links for chapter details, additional learning
    videos, games, and more! •  For the week of 10/21-10/23,
    •  Reading: Nonfiction Unit: We learned about chronological students will not be receiving
    (sequence) text structures in nonfiction books and added to our a new vocabulary list, but
    text structure flipbook! they will continue to practice
    their spelling words
    •  Writing: Personal Narratives: We wrote about some of our earliest
    memories or most memorable memories from our lives. Next week •  Students are welcomed and
    we will work on choosing one to revise and edit. encouraged to attend parent-
    •  Grammar: Spelling: Our first spelling list was introduced and we teacher conferences
    learned how we will practice everyday for the next two weeks.

    •  Science: Northeast Region: In partners, we read about a specific multiplication and division
    part of the Northeast region and wrote about three key facts from facts
    that reading. Next week we will present what learned to the class!
