Let’s Read the Bible

(Persuasive)

I love reading the Bible. The Bible is the reason why I’m healthy
spiritually, emotionally and mentally. We should read the Bible because
it is God’s will for our lives, it is our spiritual nourishment and it is full of
God’s promises for us. The Bible is not just for Christians, it is also for the
ones who really want to know God more. The Bible is for the broken, for
the ones who have done something terribly wrong, well everyone is
sinful, and that’s also one of the reasons why we should read the Bible.
Come and join with me reading the will and promises of the Lord. Let us
read the Scripture of Jesus Christ. Let us be inspired in the life of each
and every prophet who served God. Reading the Bible with a prayer is
very powerful. We should always pray because that is how we speak with
the Lord. Let us always pray and read the Bible.
Christian Music
(Descriptive)
Music is the sounds that are combined to make something
harmonious and beautiful. Christian music is music that has been written
to express either personal or a communal belief regarding Christian life
and faith. Christian Music is commonly played at Churches Catholic or
Christian. Christian Music commonly has the themes of praising,
worshipping penitence, and lament. I am 12 years old, and I really love
listening to Christian Music. It is one of our many forms of worship and
praise for our Lord. Christian Music has an uplifting vibe to it; the lyrics
tell us the love The Lord has for us, the sound makes the heart beat fast,
and when I listen to Christian Music, I feel the Lord’s presence around
me. Christian Music is also called CCM and Inspirational Music. Lyrically,
it focuses on giving us hope, and it tells us that there is always a light at
the end of the tunnel. Musically, it may be a low tempo emotional song,
or it may be up tempo to give us the “I can do anything” mood. Like other
forms of music; the creation, performance, significance, and even the
definition of Christian music varies according to culture and social
context.
The First Few Years
(Narrative)
My mother and father were very happy when they first saw me; a little
baby. They looked after me because I was just a baby, a baby that needs
its mother’s milk and father’s strong, protective arms. Then I grew a little
bit after a few months, from milk to baby food. I learned to sit down,
baby talk, and ask for food without crying. A year later, my parents
taught me to walk and talk little by little. My mother feeds me solid food
since I can now eat solid food, but I still need milk to make my bones
strong. I learned a lot of words because my mother likes to put on
educational cartoons when I’ve had my bath. 2 years old, and I already
know a lot of new words, my mother little by little prepares me for school
by slowly teaching me shapes and colors. 3 Years old, I already know how
to sing and dance, because my big brother likes watching Michael
Jackson, I try to copy is singing and dancing. My mother tries to teach me
how to write and read, because a year later I’m now at school, learning
about the shapes and colors… and years later here I am, wiser and
smarter than the kid I was during the first few years of my life.
Reusable Straws > Plastic Straws
(Expository)
My brother has 2 reusable straws that he carries around
everywhere he goes, and he told me that reusable straws are much more
helpful to the environment than plastic straws. Reusable straws are
much more durable than regular plastic straws. If you’re drinking and
accidentally snap or deform your plastic straw, you’re going to get
another one, tossing the broken straw thus; creating a mess and
damaging the environment. Reusable straws cannot be easily broken of
deformed, making it more efficient. Reusable straws, unlike the common
plastic straws are much more advisable because you can clean them
after use and it’s still safe to use. Plastic straws after use are thrown and
brought to the dump only to be burned creating much more damage to
mother Earth. By using reusable straws, we reduce the number of straws
thrown, therefore; reducing its participation in landfills and
incinerations. Plastic straws are also bad for our health, because of the
chemicals that are in the plastic. Reusable straws however, especially the
steel kind can be cleaned thoroughly, and be dipped in hot water and still
be available for use. So reusable straws are greater than plastic straws,
not only because it helps the environment but also it is much healthier
for us to use. So stop using plastic straws and start using reusable straws!
