Everything from the color of the walls to the arrangement of the desks sends impressions

The classroom is the centerpiece of a school's education. Inside each room is a teacher
and pupils engaging with one another. The main purpose is to create a climate suited for
learning. Classroom management could be a challenging task to any teacher. There are
times when a teacher needs complete silence and there are times when a teacher wants
active participation from the students. The objective is always keeping the attention of the
In the following video of GMA News, the situation in a school in Urbiztondo, Pangasinan
is highlighted. About 500 students are crammed inside a covered court with only portable
The challenges are crystal clear. There are 5 section in grade 4 and 4 sections in grade 3,
with each section numbering more than 50 students. The covered court also sits right next
to busy roads so vehicular traffic adds considerably to the noise inside the covered court.
The statement made by Pangasinan DepEd officials regarding the fact that problems such
"...the six division superintendents stood with conviction that problems on the shortage of
classrooms, insufficiency of books and school facilities have been age-old problems in
present...."
What the DepEd officials fail to see is that addressing such problems must be first
priority. The fact that these problems exist reflect the gross neglect of the government in
providing quality education to the youth. The failure to provide the basic needs of public
education provides a good measure of how well, or in this case, how bad a government
runs its educational system. If the government cannot add 1 + 1, then the government
cannot solve for x in (x + 1 = 2). The classrooms in Urbiztondo, Pangasinan provide what
We should not be blinded by sound bites like "It takes an entire community to educate a
child." Partnerships with the private sector can indeed aid public education but there are
responsibilities that rest on the government. One of these is providing an environment for
learning. The government can not delegate its primary responsibility of providing the
basic needs of public education to the private sector while wasting resources and time on
a misguided K to 12 curriculum. The government should not waste its funds paying
consultants and preparing new materials for a new curriculum if the implementation of a
new curriculum will happen in an environment like that of Urbiztondo Integrated School.
The government cannot preach to parents the need to make their homes more conducive
to learning when public schools can not do the same. It is true that it takes an entire
Changing a curriculum, drawing K to 12, these are all easy tasks. These do not translate
directly to the education of the youth. The classrooms and the teachers in these
classrooms do. Another sound bite is that "people generally do not like change." People
actually do, if the change is for the better. If the government changes the way it treats
public school teachers by upgrading their salaries, supporting their work, improving their
training, giving them the respect they deserve, the people will embrace this change.

Teaching-Styles-of-the-Classroom-Managers-in-Pinamucan-Elementary-School.pdf
Just as people have individual learning styles teachers have teaching styles that works
best for them. It is important to be aware of the preferences when creating and delivering
instruction. An effective classroom organization plan involves advance planning of a
lesson, from beginning to end, using a variety of procedures. For the teachers, this means
utilizing classroom management techniques all throughout the lesson in order to maintain
a consistent learning atmosphere. Such techniques involve focusing on the whole class,
rather than on individual students and their behavior. Because teachers are watched by
thirty five or more pairs of eyes at a time, it is crucial that teachers focus on procedures
that enforce his or her role as a manager. For the Filipinos, education is considered to be
one of the most cherished treasures that anyone could possess. A good education is
something to be proud of, so it is important to encourage children to make the most out of
it. Education could be seen as wings for progress of human being, the key to success.
Teachers are aware of the important role of education in an individual‟s life that is why
as much possible, they must be equipped with the knowledge of the ever changing trends
in education. Teachers can present lessons using methods to reach each kind of learner,
and can also help students become aware of their own learning styles so they can
Teaching puts premium on the ability of the teachers to guide students to “reflect” on
their own experiences in order to arrive at new understandings and meaning. Several
studies have been conducted in the past in search for effective teachers. Among them is a
study made by Kenneth Moore (2005) who found out that the effective teachers are
proactive, that is, they are active information processors particularly in the classroom,
good decision makers, and task oriented. They are equipped with knowledge and mastery
of content in the particular fields, aware of the characteristics of their students, and skilful
environment. Perhaps, without teachers, the other related elements of the teaching
learning process would be ineffective for he motivates guides and directs the learner‟s in
the quest for knowledge. Since acquisition of knowledge on the part of the students takes
place in an environment conducive to learning, the physical features, e.g. buildings and
aids and instructional devices should be well kept. The curriculum is that is viable should
include the learning activities and the strategies to be used so that the desired goals can be
fully realized. Et.al Zulueta (2002). To know the different teaching styles and best
practices of the Pinumacan Elementary School this will be a great help for future
educators. To utilize the positive strategies based on the data gathered; lastly this may

environment
In early 2012 the Learning Environment Evaluation Working Group (LEEWG) embarked
and students from across campus was to promote the improvement of current teaching
and learning spaces at the University and to inform the process of planning for future
classroom construction and renovation. The project represents an initial attempt by the
physical environment and the perceptions of instructors and students who work and study
in that classroom. After all, given that our physical surroundings have a profound
influence on our behaviours, it makes sense for an institution devoted to higher learning,
and especially one that is devoted to quality undergraduate teaching, to engage more
closely with classroom space and to understand how the learning environment can be
designed or modified to improve instruction and learning. The LEEWG sees itself as
This article focuses on one aspect of this project: an examination of instructor and student
perceptions of the physical aspects of the learning environment in room L1050, and the
effect, if any, that comprehensive changes to this classroom had on these perceptions. As

psychologists and teachers in general. Classroom climate has been defined is “the
classroom environment, the social climate, the emotional, and the physical aspect of the
classroom,” (Bierman, 2011, p.2). While there are many factors that can influence how a
student performs in school, the climate that the teacher creates in the classroom for the
students through goal-setting, appropriate challenges, and empathy for the students may
Even more interesting is how this could be related to student self-efficacy, which is a
student’s perceived capability for a specific task or subject, in this case math. Teachers
may be able to influence student self-efficacy with the classroom environment that they
create. A great deal of research has been done in this subject area in the last 25 years to
support the importance of the mathematics climate on student self-efficacy in the subject
effects on their self-efficacy have been conducted. Although this study focuses on public
high school students in a suburb outside of Boston, the research that was analyzed ranges
across a broad spectrum of ages, geographical locations, and scopes. The following
relevant studies include elementary-age children, middle and high school students, and
Studies on this subject area have been done in the United States, Israel, Slovenia, China,
and elsewhere. Starting with the very broad topic of environment and narrowing towards
dynamic studies will be used to support the relevance of this research topic area and also
One of the Maslow Hierarchy of needs is a physiological need are the physical
requirement for human survival. If these requirements are not met, the human body
cannot function properly and will ultimately fail. Physiological needs are thought to be
• Air (Breathing)
• Water

• Sexual instinct

• Shelter
This Maslow Theory is one of the theories that the researchers want to prove that this
research is having evidence that they want to show / inform readers, what are they need,
and to do in their classrooms to improve and still the unity and to the ambiance. To have
a place that clear and neat, people tend to be focused and think clearly. Classroom
environment belongs in the part of Marslow Hierarchy of needs in the shelter that says
every student and teachers need a friendly classroom to improve their skills and
knowledge.
One of these interesting bits of information is the Borken Windows Theory. Based on the
article by James Q. Wilson and George L. Kelling, the theory posits the acts of serious
vandalism can be prevented by fixing problems when they are small, and fixing them
whin the short period of time. The author uses this example to demonstrate their theory:
interpretation of this theory. A community should be extra vigilant about the conditions

Consider a building with a few broken windows. If the windows are repaired, the
tendency is for vandals to break a few windows. Eventually, they may even break into the
