Welcome to Edmonds Community
College. Picking up this issue of the Triton
Review you could be either new or return-
ing, domestic or international, evening or a
day student but regardless, you are one of
the student-body – a Triton. What does be-
ing a Triton mean? Quite literally, a Triton
is the prince of the sea in Greek mythology
but here, a Triton is one who is academic
and career oriented a lifelong learner and
one who strives for success in everything
they do.
Edmonds Community College has had
a legacy of Tritons since 1967, and now 47
years later it continues with you.
Edmonds Community College’s (often
abbreviated to EDCC) strives to achieve

The Triton Review is a student-run newspaper at Edmonds Community College that serves the student readership by reporting on issues and events as they relate to the campus
community and by supporting the open exchange of a diverse range of viewpoints and opinions.
