Mr. & Mrs. Aaron Robert

30 Channing Drive

Benton, MO, 63736

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Robert:

On behalf of Mid-America Transplant Services, please accept my deepest condolences for the recent
loss of your loved one, Kaden. No words can diminish the sorrow and grief of losing a loved one.
I would like to thank you for the courage you showed in the making the decision to help others
through the gift of donation. It is deeply moving when families consider the needs of others, even as
they are grieving the loss of a loved one.

I wanted to share some information about the lives that were changed because of Kaden’s generous
gift. I hope the following information will provide you and your family some comfort in the days
ahead.

Kaden’s heart now beats for a 54-year-old woman from Missouri. She is married with children and
works as a loan officer. She enjoys reading and golf and is soon to be a grandmother. She was
listed for this life-saving transplant on February 24, 2014. She has had good cardiac function
following this transplant. Kaden’s lungs were gifted to a 15-year-old girl from Wisconsin. She is a
student, loves animals and is talkative and humorous. When she is feeling well she loves power
lifting. She was listed for transplant on October 25, 2013. The transplant went well and she
continues to recover. The recipient of Kaden’s right kidney is a 37-year-old man from New York.
He is married with children and works as a sales representative. He was placed on the waiting list
on May 18, 2004. The right kidney had good function following the transplant. Kaden’s left
kidney and pancreas were given to a 37-year-old man from Illinois. He works in computer drafting
and design and enjoys fishing and hanging out with friends. He was listed for transplant on
September 30, 2013. Both the left kidney and pancreas had good function following the transplant
and he continues to recover. Kaden’s liver was received by an 8-year-old girl from Missouri. She
is a third grade student and has one brother. She enjoys summer school and swimming and her
family is eternally grateful for the gift they were given. She was listed for this life-saving transplant
on December 13, 2013. The liver has had good function and she has been doing well since the
transplant.

Kaden’s gift has touched the lives of not only his recipients, but also their many family and friends.
Once again, I offer my condolences for your loss and will continue to hold you in my thoughts and
prayers. If I can help in any way, please call me at 314-550-2796.

Sincerely,
Jonette Strothcamp
