This exercise requires you to provide an outline for your informative speech by filling in the

 conclusion and recommendation.

In this exercise, you need to choose at least one chart and/or graph related to your topic. Describe
the important data (facts and figures) and the salient features of the data from the chosen chart(s)
and/or graph(s). You are also required to choose at least one article related to your topic. Select
relevant information from the chosen article(s) to provide some supporting information for the data.

Introduction
Introduce topic E-hailing versus taxi services
Credibility I am interested in the topic and have done some research on it
Background of topic E-hailing is the term used for ordering a car, taxi, limousine, or any other

form of transportation pick up via electronic devices including, computers or

mobile devices. There are currently at least 23 e-hailing apps available in

Malaysia.
Central Idea Which services does Malaysian prefer the most? Is it e-hailing or taxi

services?

Description of data 1. The blue portion has many respondents than the orange portion

(Chart 1) indicates that the majority group prefers e-hailing services. 89% of

the respondent choose e-hailing


2. Total respondent 380.
3. Only 11% or the orange portion of the respondent prefer taxi

services.

Analysis of data 1. The majority of people in Malaysia own smartphones or gadgets

(Chart 1) which enable them to download the e-hailing application.


2. They find that it is so much easier to get the services rather than

calling for taxi services.

Description of data 1. Most of the respondents from age 20 to 29 or group 2.


2. Note that taxi service is dominant in group 4 and 5, which are older
(Chart 2)
adults and senior citizens

Analysis of data 1. Most of the respondents are from group 2 which is people ranged

(Chart 2) from 20-29.


2. While group 4 and group 5 do prefer the taxi services which indicate

that they do not experience the e-hailing services

Conclusion
Conclusion 1. In conclusion, based on this research it shows that most people do

prefer the e-hailing services rather than taxi services.

2. But for the elderly and senior citizens, the prefer the taxi services.
Recommendation 1. Support both of the services.
2. Make our economy better for a bright future.
