CONSTRUCTION FEATURES
Spherical Housing One-piece molded, non-combusti-

ble, reinlorced polyester sphere forms a lightweight,
weatherproof enclosure-free ol rust, corrosion and
breakage problems.
OpticalAssembly Spun alu m in um reflector, Alzak@ sur-
faced with finishes- ranging from specular to diffused.
Feflector is an end-punched, sphero-parabolic design.
Combinations of prismed or clear, tempered glass lenses
and reflector tinishes produce narrow, medium or wide
beam spread patterns. The hinged, stainless steel lens
trame is gasketed with silicone rubber and secured by a
sing le captive locking screw.
lntegral Ballast Starting rated to -20'F. Ballast for

l\4ercury Vapor lamps are constant wattage autotrans-
former iCWA) type. Ballast for Metal Halide lamps are
regulated lead peaked circuit lypes. Ballast lor High
Pressure Sodium lamps are regulated type using an
electronic starter circuit. All ballast are hiqh power factor.
Lampholder Enclosed, glazed porcelain socket with
- nickel-plated center contact and rein-
spring-loaded,
torced mogul screw shell lamp grip.
Mounting A cast aluminum slipfjtter for 2" pipe permits
optimum aiming orientation with pole, arm and bracket
combination selected.
Finish Standard baked-on enamel painl linish is white.
