customers over the last decades. By several studies, business leaders in different fields have

inserted effort to change their corporate culture and structures to be more environmentally-

friendly and responsible such as modifying their existing services embracing the green practices

or eco-friendly services. According to Sumaylo (2016), embracing green practices is not only a

cost-saving undertaking but also a wise utilization of the depleting resources and exhausts the

tradition of reusing, recycling and reducing. Hotels have integrated many environmental

strategies into their operations for over a decade. Those initiatives vary from recycling to buying

local items to introducing robust certification requirements for LEED (Leadership in Energy and

Environmental Design). In Cebu City business park has a new development which includes a

range of eco-friendly features and has a registered structure named as Ecologically Responsive

Design Excellence (or Berde), a green building rating system. Today, ecotourism is growing

rapidly in nature-oriented and environment-focused tourism. It is a growing market for the

tourism industry's environmentally friendly choices Apart from ecotourism, many in the hotel

industry have acknowledged the negative environmental impact of their business activities and

well with the newly discovered ecotourism success. They harmonize tourism and protection of

the climate. The term "green hotels" describes hotels that strive to be more environmentally

friendly by using energy, water and materials efficiently while providing quality services. By

saving water, reducing energy use, and reducing solid waste, green hotels recycle and preserve.

We saw advantages including lower costs and liabilities, high returns and low-risk investments,
increased profits, and healthy cash flows. Identifying these advantages and rewards has helped

green hotels to grow in popularity. Hotels are becoming more and more greener. In hotels, the

most expensive and wasteful use of resource is usually the use of non-renewable energy,

excessive water use, and waste production. Sustainability is one of the greatest problems in the
