METHODOLOGY
This chapter presents the research design, locale of the study, research respondents,
research instrument, data gathering, and the method of interpretation and scoring.
Research Design
The researchers made use of the descriptive method of design in identifying the
Effectiveness of the Various Teaching Strategies in the Academic Performance of the Grade 10
Students of Liceo del Verbo Divino. The main method of analysis used in this design is the
descriptive analysis wherein the collected data is organized and presented with the use of visual
presentations such as tables and charts for easier comprehension and discussion.
The researchers conducted the study in Liceo del Verbo Divino, Tacloban City, Leyte,
wherein the selected research respondents are currently studying. The research is also conducted

The respondents of his study were 100 students of Grade 10 students of Liceo del Verbo
Divino sample from the total population of 168 students of the 5 different sections.

The researchers will be using the survey questionnaire as a source of data pertinent to the
study. The researchers sought the permission to conduct the study from the School Principal of
Liceo del Verbo Divino, Research Teacher, class advisers of the respondents and the
respondents.
The researchers distributed the survey questionnaire to the respondents with the
information about the research for which their honest responses were collected. Then the result
was analyzed and tabulated. And was given graphic representations and text interpretations for
