Welcome to the world of Pokemon Emerald, like me, I also enjoyed playing the game. But to make it
more fun, it would be the best to tweak the game a little bit using Pokemon Emerald cheats.
In Pokemon gaming, there are several known and favorite cheats used by gamers; the Walk Through
Walls, Rare Candy, Master ball, wild Pokemon modifier, and Legendary. In this listing of cheat codes for
Pokemon Emerald, You are about to uncover the most popularly used cheat codes and more of them.
Pokemon Emerald GameShark Codes
These Gameshark codes will work only for Pokemon Emerald version with Gameboy Advance supported
emulators. Pokemon Emerald gamers already verified almost all of these codes; however, it may not
work for you when you fail to follow the instructions in applying such cheat codes like entering the
master codes.
But if you think you already did what is asked in the instructions, feel free to post your comments with

Update: Pokemon Nature Modifier Cheat Now Available
The most awaited cheat has finally here. The Pokemon Nature modifier cheat is one of the most
requested cheats by our readers. A Pokemon’s nature plays a vital role in raising stronger and fiercer
Pokemon, and when used correctly, it makes a huge difference.

Activating the cheats using My Boy free version
If you’re using My Boy free version, all multiple liner cheats will not work for you. My Boy requires the
paid version for you to activate multiple-liner cheats.
But there’s an easy trick to bypass this limitation – Enter the lines of codes as a separate cheat. Sounds
complicated? It’s not, and I created a guide on how you can do it, check How To Enable Multiple-Liner

Cheats not working?
There are plenty of reasons why a cheat fails to work; here is the list of fixes you can apply to address
them.
Double check the cheat, remove spaces at the end of the code if there’s any.
As much as possible use Emerald V1.0 as this version works best for cheats compared to V1.1
Cheats not working on GBA4iOS? This is a common problem for most GBA4iOS users, and sadly there’s
no real fix for this problem yet.
Select the correct cheat type, some emulators such as My Boy for Android can detect the right cheat
type, and it is highly recommended using this app.

So I used the wild pokemon modifier cheat and it worked swell. Kinda wish I didn’t have to re enter the
cheat if I failed to catch a pokemon or if there was a 100% catch rate cheat but fine. I can work with
that.
Thing is, I turned on real time clock so I can finish Shoal Cave and it stopped working after that, even
when I turned it back off again.

Nevermind I’m actually retarded.
In the process of trying everything under the sun though now all my item counts start with a ?. If there’s
any idea how to revert that I’d appreciate it.

If you can’t find your desired Pokemon nature, restart your game (leaving the shiny code enabled) and
walk on wild and repeat the process. I don’t think enabling nature + shiny code will work.

Hey, i caught a Mew using the legendary cheat but it will not obey any commands. I also caught
mewtwo the same way and mewtwo does obey. I also ended up with a “bad egg???” Sorry im new to
this.

Mewtwo does obey but mew does not. Before capturing the Pokemon try to disable the cheat, I guess
this can help you get rid of bad eggs.

Some of my readers have reported that it is possible to change the gender of a Pokemon just by
restarting the game. I’m not quite sure how many restarts needed but give it a try and I would love to
hear your results about it.

I’m on GBA4iOS and when i use cheatcodes for POKéMON fire red version there were extra MASTER
CODES for GBA4iOS users, letting me catch pokemon i choose with cheatcodes. In this page i dont see
an extra master code for GBA4iOS, But i ignored thinking that it would be okay, but it didnt, as soon as i
wanted to see Rayquaza, I captured him but suddenly the game restarted to the very beginning, Can you
add the other master code for GBA4iOS please?

Emerald for GBA4iOS users so the cheat works.

I’m not quite sure which emerald version you have but may I know your GBA emulator? The cheat works
best for cheat supported emulators such as My Boy and VBA.

The nature modifier codes don’t seem to be working for me. I’m running My Boy! Current. I activate it

Whenever i put in the code for hm’s and tm’s it always comes up with “Warning: codes seem to be for a
different game. code might not work correctly.” I then go to make sure it hasnt worked and it doesnt. If

You can simply ignore that error. After activating the cheat go to Pokemart and purchase the first item
listed in the buy list. If still doesn’t work, check your rom version the cheats works best for V1.0 and not
for V1.1.

are continuously searching for working codes for every Pokemon games. Give a few days to add the

The code 82005274 0YYY is much more versatile than you think. The X’s correspond to a hexadecimal
code point, e.g. 0DF stands for Metal Powder and 178 stands for Old Sea Map. For example, type
82005274 00C5, and you can buy Lucky Eggs, which are available in FR/LG (5% chance to be held by wild
Chansey), but unavailable in R/S/E.

Hey I’m playing Emerald on GBA4IOS and I want to use the Wild pokemon modifier. I know its typed in
right but it wont work for me. I had this problem for the Fire Red version of the cheat. Other than this
one, the rare candy and master ball cheat work fine.

I have found the way to solve the cheating codes in GBA4iOS successfully (iPhone XS, iOS 12.2), after
trying different things:
1. Be sure that all the lines of the code are included (may be dumb, but at the beginning I was using only
two strings instead of the whole code because I thought they were several codes doing the same).
2. Include and enable the MASTER CODE, which I did not find in this post but in linked posts).
3. Include and enable the code of interest (female pokemons, infinite money, shiny pokemon), but erase
all the ones you are not using (except the master code).
I observed that multiple codes at the same time, even if not enable, make the enabled codes not work.
Extra Observations: bad eggs can appear in the team; also the Code Breaker codes work without all this
steps, in my case.

You can’t pair the gender cheat with the shiny cheat. Unfortunately, the only fix we found to change the
gender of a shiny Pokemon is to restart the game.

It means your rom version is not compatible with the cheat. There are three choices for you to choose in
your situation; not using the cheat anymore, look for Emerald V1.0 or stay the glitchy shiny Pokemon as
it is.
Update: There’s a possible fix for this glitchy Pokemon name problem. All you have to do is disable the
cheat before catching the Pokemon.

The only way to get rid of a bad egg is depositing it in the box, or if you saved the game before getting
the bad egg would be much better. Sorry, bad eggs are really annoying and you can’t entirely get rid of it
once the game is saved. Also, it is a must to disable a cheat after use to avoid glitches.

My lileep turned into a bad egg while it was in my PC randomly, BEFORE I used any cheats, do y’all know
why? After all, lileep cannot be replaced since it comes from one of the 2 fossils.

After adding a cheat battle any Pokemon in the wild, you will receive lots of exp using the code and your
Pokemon will level up many times. To stop, you have to disable the cheat in the cheats menu manually.

You can’t have any other cheat active when using the infinite exp code. Codebreaker loses priority over
other cheat types like game shark/action replay.
Also don’t hit any buttons and hope your selected Pokémon is faster, as the cheat leads to an instant KO
for whoever goes first, even the opponent.

Hello Shadwesker, when activating the Pokemon modifier code, you must activate only the cheat that
you need. All other unused cheats must be turned off. When your screen turns red most probably there
are other enabled codes beside the modifier code.

I guess the stats will change, but I want to let you know that the shiny cheat will give you the same
gender and same nature depending on the emerald version you are using. As far as I know, it is not
suitable for breeding so be careful when using the cheat.

Hey! Im using my boy version 1.8.0 and im running emerald (u) (2).zip and so far the only cheat I can get
to work is the rare candy one! Any advice?!
Ps: im really trying to get blazed glazed to work but it wont… iv tried every patcher I can find and ever

It seems like you’re running an Emerald V1.1, this version does not support most of the listed cheats.
Look for emerald V1.0 as this version works well with cheats. Regarding the blazed glazed, I suggest
downloading a pre-patched version of the game, that’s the only suggestion I give.

When I use the Navel Rock Warp Code and flew to it with my latias. It only got me into an infinite area of
water whenever I move around my character is only in the middle and never goes out of the water. The

Hi Misha, maybe you have just reached the end part of the map, or just you’re trapped in the area, I
believe you can use the walk through walls cheat to escape that place. The warp is not 100% perfect, so
you can’t expect too much using it.

Yes, there is a cheat for all items but I don’t recommend using it and same as with the all pokeball cheat.
These cheats will just populate your bag with useless items and make it hard for you to find the item you
really need.

Hello Luthor, if the money doesn’t work try going in and out the Pokemart or any building for about 5
times, then check your money. If nothing happens use the rare candy cheat, grab as many rare candies
as you can and sell them for money. Rare candy is expensive so you can get a lot of money selling them.

First off, be sure to have V1.0 rom, second, use recommended GBA emulator check best GBA emulator
for Android and Best GBA Emulators for PC. For Android I highly recommend My Boy and for PC I suggest
VBA. In your case, if the money doesn’t appear after going in and out the Pokemart at least 5x then I
suggest following the recommendation I mentioned.

While searching for a shiny vulpix both male and female came up but while looking for shiny shuppet

Actually this has happened to me too but not with Vulpix, my hypothesis is that( When you use the
gender bender codes(that’s to change your desired gender) it has only given male shinies but also I think
it seems to reverse the effect either at the beginning of a soft reset or when you activate it before or
after an encounter with a shiny wild, or maybe even after a battle with a trainer

Whoa, that’s insane, how’s that possible? As a rule of thumb do not save game progress if notice bad
egg in your party, so I hope you didn’t saved the game. Sorry for what happen and I would suggest not
using the cheat.

This is a bug of the shiny cheat, I suggest not using it, as I can see your rom version is not compatible
with the code or try to find another emerald version that works for this cheat such as US Emerald V1.0
or Emerald Trashman.

Um, is there a way to modify the gender while the shiny code is in place, and is there a code to remove
the shiny one? What I mean is, I activated the code and now I can’t stop finding shiny females. Even
after the removing the code. How can I fix it so that I can find the shinys I want and then afterwords not
have it on anymore without it always being on regardless of being disabled or not?

First off, may I know the GBA emulator to play the game? Try restarting the game several times while
the shiny code is enabled and see if this changes Pokemon gender. This works most of the time
according to some of my readers who tried it.

Hi Brandon. No problem at all, everyone are welcome to post comments. To answer your question, Yes,
the Pokemon need to be a Wild and it won’t work to existing Pokemon. If you want a starter Pokemon
with your desired Nature, you have to input the cheat before receiving the Pokemon. Though I’m not
100% sure it’ll work, but try it as this trick work for other cheats. Let me know how it goes to you.

You need a V1.0 Emerald rom for it to work and you need a good GBA emulator that supports cheating, I
recommend My Boy for Android.

Yep, most likely it is 1.0 as most cheats especially the legendary or wild Pokemon modifier will work only
for V1.0 and not for V1.1.

That is usually the case because of the design by default. Just like imagine you can’t walk through the
edge of the screen in some areas because there is nothing there. In cases where you can’t pass through
walls, that’s also due to the coding so just find an alternate path.

Hello,
I’m using GBA4iOS on iPhone. The master ball code works correctly but the wild Pokémon codes crash
the game. The Pokémon I choose will appear occasionally but will eventually crash while attempting to
catch. I was able to catch one, turn off the code, save, then reload the game and it does not crash.
Although any other Pokémon I try, the crashing continues. Any solution? I am entering in the master
code and activating then entering a separate code with the master and Pokémon.

Hey,
Are the Master code and the warp codes supposed to be input as separate codes or as one combined
code? I’m asking this because when I use my Codedevil device (which also uses gameshark/action replay
codes) it doesn’t work when I create a separate Master code. I’ve also tried the birth island warp which
did work, but the Navel rock and faraway island ones didn.t Any idea how to solve this? I’m using a
regular gameboy advance with a European version of Emerald (no emulator).

Hi there Ruben, the warp code should be inputted as one. Let’s say you want to warp to the player’s
house, you just have to enter the code 6266061B C8C9D80F as single cheat and enter to any doors/cave
to warp.

Probably you guys have the emerald version 1.1 that’s why the cheat didn’t work. Emerald cheats works
best for Emerald V1.0. If you have V1.0 but still didn’t work, maybe you are using GBA4iOS? Sorry but in
most cases Pokemon encounter won’t work in GBA4iOS.

I’ve been trying to try the Pokémon modifier codes for some while now but they don’t seem to work.
I’m using OpenEmu v2.0.6.1 on macbook pro and playing Emerald.
Other codes that fit on my screen like the shiny/masterball/teleport work perfectly.
I really want to play with a team of selected Pokémons to make the game more interesting.
The code for Ivysaur for example, I think it will work when I try this:

Hi there, switch to another app such as Bluestacks or Nox App player to emulate Android on your MAC
and then install My Boy in it. After thorough testing, I found out that OpenEmu doesn’t support Action
replay cheat type codes. That’s so unfortunate because OpenEmu is the best emulator for MAC but it
lacks support on cheats.

Did you use the all pokeball cheat? better stay away from that cheat and use the master ball cheat as an
alternative. It will just ruin your TM case. I included a warning message in it and I hope you didn’t save
your progress before applying the cheat. I’m thinking of removing it in my collection.

Hiya, I’m looking for a code to max out my IVs on all wild Pokémon. Do you have anything that works?
Nothing I’ve tried so far has done so. I’m playing a variety of emerald hacks on GBA4iOS.
I’ve just gone from playing cloud white where the ivs are shown as letter grades and know what a gulf
there is between those with 31 and those with none, especially at level 100. Also, the master code I’ve
used makes every item I have as well as my bank balance start with a question mark and I’m worried
how that might impact items in my bag going forward. Indeed, the last time I encountered this I ended
up losing items in my bag with no warning. Cheers for your time

one. If your bank balance showing something like ???? maybe you have the unlimited money cheat
activated and it’s perfectly safe to use but disable it after use.

Are you using the free version of My Boy? If yes, then It will not work because the free version of My
Boy won’t accept multiple lines of cheat codes. But I guess editing the code to make it one line would fix

Im using openemu on the lastest version for my Macbook air, (early 2014 13-inch). I can get infinite
money and master balls but I can’t find out (I’ve looked everywhere) how to get pokemon encounters to
work, like, I want to be able to catch charmander, either the codes I put in are wrong, or what im doing

Hi there David, I can feel you and that’s so frustrating. You can’t make the wild Pokemon modifier to
work because OpenEmu don’t support Action Replay v3 code which the required cheat type for wild
Pokemon Modifier. As what OpenEmu suggested, users can convert the action replay v3/v4 code to
GameShark using https://gamehacking.org/?sys=gba but I haven’t tried it personally.
Another solution is switching another emulator, I suggest installing Bluestacks and downloading My Boy
for Android. My Boy is the best GBA emulator I ever tried and it works best for many.

You mean neither of these codes work for you? If so, possibly it’s your ROM version, these codes works
perfectly for V1.0. Also, it could be your emulator, try switching the most recommended emulator such
as My Boy for Android.

Hey I have a galaxy S6 and the John gba emulator. I was wondering were do I put the master codes for

Hello Tyler, if the codes don’t work you it could be either of your Emerald rom version or the OpenEmu
itself. The listed cheats above and most Emerald cheats need an Emerald version V1.0 to make it fully
work.
The first thing you need to do, I would suggest downloading Emerald V1.0 (Maybe I can give you this file
through Request form) or switch to another emulator, try using VisualBoy Advance-m for Mac, you can
find it in Emulators section.

Hello, just wondering why my game keeps on resetting? I was using GBA4iOS to emulate Emerald, all the
cheats are working except the wild Pokémon modifier. I had it set to Feebass and at first it didn’t spawn
so I tought “maybe it keeps the Pokémon’s encounter rates” before it restarted. I was fine and thought
“okay, maybe it did that to plug in the data.”
But then I ran into a Feebass named Zigzagoon and the game reset! It happened 3 times when I
encountered one, but twice when I had it active and randomly spoke to a dude on route 101! I activated
the mastercode first and everything!

Hi there bro, I can see two possibilities with your restarting problem. First, the Wild Pokemon Modifier
code is not compatible with GBA4iOS and second, your version of Emerald do not support the cheat. If
you believe you did the correct steps in putting the codes then it’s something to do with your emulator
or ROM.
I have few solutions I can offer; First, Switch to another GBA emulator you can use MyBoy (Android) and
Visual Boy Advance(Windows), second find and download Emerald V1.0, third simply do not use the wild
Pokemon modifier cheat.

Apologies pal, my bad. It supposed to be in the PokeMart and not bag or PC. After activating the cheat
you need to visit PokeMart and purchase the first item in the list. The first item should be your TM/HM.

For some reason not all the pokemon modifier codes won’t work for me. I can use the Pikachu, Pidgey,

Sorry mate but that’s not possible, the ThunderPunch TM was only available in Generations II, that was
TM41 but later removed in Generations III. If you want to teach your Pokemon with ThunderPunch you
need to beat the Elite Four and go to the move tutor in the Battle Frontier. Hope this helps.

All I want is level modifiers but they all crash my game. I can’t download an emerald rom 1.0 because

Hi so I use the GBA4iOS 2.1 and am using trash’s poke emerald rom. The codes that have worked for me
so far are the walkthrough walls, rare candies, masterballs, and teleporting to different cities etc. The
only one that keeps crashing and causing my game to restart is the pokemon cheat, I’ve looked at your
video and tried to troubleshoot to no avail. Was wondering if you could do a detailed step by step on
how you get the cheat to work. Every time I walk in the grass, i see a quick glimpse of the pokemon I’m
trying to catch and then the game resets. Very frustrating! I hope you could figure it out for me. Thank

Okay so I have an issue. I am playing Pokémon Fire Red, and Pokémon emerald, both “(U)” versions and
none of the Pokémon modifier codes for fire red have any effect at all. With emerald, the codes seem to
only cause the game to return to the title screen every two seconds. I am using GBA4IOS and have

For FireRed use the (U) Squirrels version, for emerald I think the cheats perfectly works for (U)

I believe some of these will work on glazed and some maybe not, give it a try. Just a quick note, if you
discover some irregularities on your game such as your TM case disappears or a bad egg appears just
please don’t save your game.

You can’t find Yveltal in regular Pokemon emerald game unless you play a rom hack. You can only find
Yveltal in Pokemon X&Y and onwards.

Mate, OpenEmu is unstable right now for Pokemon GBA cheats. I suggest installing bluestacks and
download My Boy android app as an alternative.
