Postgraduate (PG) Students of MIST will organize research seminars. The purpose of the
seminar is to provide an academic environment in which PG students can present their research
proposals, advancements, field results, key findings and benefit from peer constructive criticism.
The seminar is an opportunity to improve presentation skills, to get feedback from colleagues, to
strengthen the PG community, and to share the academic issues and questions in a
constructive and warming meeting.
Objectives:
i. To share the research work among a large group of audiences
ii. To further enrich the research work through feedback from experts
iii. To avoid duplicity of the research work
No of Seminars:
Postgraduate students of MIST are required to deliver following minimum number of seminars -
- PhD candidate: 02 (two)
- MSc Engg / MPhil candidate: 01 (one)
