Our ambitious Jewson Woodbridge team are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated
Yard/Warehouse Operative to support in a busy yard environment. In this exciting role, you'll
undertake warehouse and yard duties to promote and maximise sales, whilst at all times ensuring
customer needs are met and exceeded. You'll also be required to occasionally support the team
with relief Driver duties as necessary.

As a Yard/Warehouse Operative with Jewson, you will:

 Assist in the manual loading and unloading of vehicles in the yard.

 Maintain stock levels in both the shop and yard areas to a high standard of health and
safety and neatness, ensuring that all goods are correctly priced via label checks.
 Ensure all sales orders are promptly processed to meet customer needs.
 Ensure minimum stock shrinkage and accurate daily stock counts.
 Deal with customers on a day to day basis in the yard, building long term relationships.
 Provide relief Driver duties as necessary to support with holiday cover/sickness/absence.

 Have fantastic customer service experience and know what great service looks, sounds
and feels like.
 Have excellent communication skills for dealing with customers and colleagues alike.
 Ideally hold a counterbalance/FLT license to help our deliveries get in and out in double
time.
 Hold a full and valid UK driving license - essential, owing to relief Driver duties.
 Are able to deliver with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
 Are positive, personable and a real team player.
