Earlier this evening units were dispatched to a subject with chest pains, prior to our
response the call was upgraded to CpR in progress.

The times generated on the Event Report are not indicative of the true turn-out time
or response time. According to the Event Report, the call was received at l7:21:Zl
hours and the initial medical dispatch occurred at 17:25:01 hours. The turn-out time
for all units was less than one minute from the time of dispatch, additionalty; I woutd
estimate that the arrival times are also incorrect. I say this because the times
recorded on the code summary from the incident indicate that the monitor was turned
on at 17:27 hours.

I have also spoken the on-duty Communications Supervisor, Joanne Burbage, who
also happened to be the dispatcher on the incident. Joanne called me at
approximately l9:05 hours to explain why there were errors in the recording of the
times. The end result was that between gathering the necessary information,
performing EMD and dispatching the caf l, the times were not entered in the correct
sequence. Joanne also reported that the recorded times for arrival on scene were
probably delayed by one to one and a half minutes; these would be the arrival times
for 7503, 7505, 7540, and Engine I6. Joanne also reported that the arrival time for
Chief 5l was correct.
